An essential tool for removing much of the Google Chrome-like stink from recent versions of Firefox.

The name already tells everything Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Actually I was just searching for an extension, that allowed me to move the add-on bar icons, which already works pretty fine with this little helper.
But besides that it offers some other interesting features. So I also got back my sorely missed "New Tab" option in the tab context menu.
Personally I don't need the other options, but for everyone, that e. g. wants to move the Firefox button or to move the menu, this is the right tool. Just one little thing I noticed: It seems not to be possible to completely remove the Firefox button from the UI.

More Viewable Space Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on allows more customization and viewable space while using Firefox. If you move the orange Firefox button to your tab bar, you will gain approximately 1/4 inch more in viewable space. If you are using a laptop, you need this, since viewable space is at a premium. Very useful add-on.

Great addon and does what it does. Since Firefox 4 the status bar is ugly and doesn't mesh with the UI very well.

Unfortunately some icons still wants to be there and with this addon you can move those icons to the top bar.

Great work!

To developer Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I saw your reply to my last feature request and now I have new requests:
1) Ability to make app button moveable like titlebar (you can move window by dragging app button) and if you can do this, I want ability to remove all free space in titlebar (it's then not needed for dragging anymore).
2) When you install any addon, there comes puzzle icon to urlbar and I want to see it as long as I haven't restarted Firefox (in all tabs), because I install a lot of addons at once and it's annoying to go to addons manager to just restart Firefox.
These fixes would help a lot and I want to say that I LOVE THIS ADDON!

Thanks for this great addon! It's so nice to be able to move the status bar icons to the bars at the top!!

Did exactly what I wanted it to. On WinXP with a custom theme and with Tabs On Top enabled, the title bar was a bit broken. But with it disabled, I couldn't move the tabs back above, and there wasn't even a title in the title bar. All's well now--thanks.

I was hoping that I would be able to move out specific icons from the new addon bar, but extension only allows you to move them as a batch. All I wanted to do was move the Greasemonkey button up and disable addon bar in order to gain some more space. Rest of the buttons on the addon bar aren't crucial as GM icon. However this addon is still quite useful if you use it with additional addons to show/hide addons bar items. I'm using "organize status bar 0.65". This addon also makes the menu button movable which is a great feature.

I was thrilled at first when I read the features of this add on, and most of the features work as advertised, however, the feature that I was most interested in (move status bar icons which was the whole reason that I installed this add on), only half works! You cannot move individual icons and can only move them in a group, and as they appear in the status bar! Not too useful if you can only move the status bar icons to the left of the status bar or to the right of it and not have the ability to completely rearrange them, remove or add them. Having said that, it is better than not being able to move them at all!

Wonderful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Wonderful extension. Solved my problem with Windows Blinds by letting me keep the titlebar and move the firefox menu. This functionality should have been built into firefox4.

This brings back the configurability on FX4+ Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks! As much as I like tha 'new' interface of FX4 (and further nightlies aka 4.2alpha), there is something missing:
You can't easily change some things. Here come the "Firefox 4 UI Fixer" quite handily: without mucking around in userChrome.css / userChrome.js or modifying a theme. it enables a user to adapt FX to his/her likes.
An Idea to think about would be to enable the user to change the background color of the FX-Menu-Button.
Anyway, thanks a lot.

Good, But Doesn't Match Description Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This addon certainly helps undo some of the less desirable forced changes in FF4, but I found one issue: Enabling the "Always Show Window Titlebar" option causes the Firefox button to be removed (just as it would be if you choose to show the Menu Bar). This may be by design, but it is counter to what is described in the addon summary.

Well, you can activate "Make Firefox Menu Button Movable", then you'll have Firefox Menu AND Page Title :). I don't do this by default because some people want to move classic Menu instead.

Good, but a suggestion Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Can you make the firefox button a normal-themed button (like home or back/forward) with a tools icon (wrench and hammer or something) that I can place to the right hand side of the address bar? Similar to Chrome.

Kudos & Minor Bug Fix for XP Rated 5 out of 5 stars

First, awesome job. This really cleans up v4 for me.
One small annoyance with the movable status bar icons: under XP, when the status bar icons move it also brings in the stretchy corner dragging icon. (http://oi53.tinypic.com/2v353iw.jpg) Clicking this icon still resizes the window as if dragging from the LR corner, which is kind of odd behavior in the middle of a toolbar. Is there any way to leave this icon behind? I note that under Vista this doesn't seem to happen. Not sure about other OSs.

I fixed this for v1.4.3 (I already added v1.4.2, it's just waiting for review). In the meantime you can use http://userstyles.org/styles/41989
