I found this add-on very helpful when I wanted to find something quickly with many tabs open. When I thought I had a problem the developers responded quickly and politely. Keep up the good work.

I am one of those people the rest of you are complaining about. But the fact, even developers have lives. And our lives don't always accommodate the means to keep up on the projects that we love very much, but for whatever reason cannot maintain. I know this personally, and yes it bothers me too. But the rest of you need to lighten up!

Open the extension, edit the rdf file and then stop complaining!!!! If you don't know how to, LEARN!!!

when ? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I upgraded to the latest FF

As many folks are asking.....WHEN ?

When will there be an update please ?

Does it sound like I'm begging ?

Your head is maybe swelling from all the voices shouting: "when is an update ?"

If not, why bother.

It gets tiring seeing so many developers let people get used to using their add ons, then letting them beg for an update. This thing doesn't work, so it sucks. When it worked, it was great. And 10 bucks? Dude, get a life.

The only plugin I install by default on all firefox installs! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this plugin!!! Oh please oh please wont you update it for 3.6?

does not work? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

or is it just as of yet incompatible with my version of firefox? (3.5.7)

nothing shows up in the find bar. aside from the usual...and another addon i've added that contributes to 'find' -the 'similar' find check-box.

It would be great to see this compatible with version 3.6! Thanks!

Just the right idea for what I wanted.

I go through job boards and can open lots of position descriptions in tabs. Then I can use this add-on's feature to kill off duplicate positions, etc.

Bummer: If I search for a term, it skips matches if the term is at the end of a sentence, apparently because of the period.

Bummer: It doesn't refresh the tabs list when one or more tabs are closed. If a lower number tab is closed, and a higher number tab is selected from the search result list, it directs the user to one tab higher than the tab selected in the search results list. That is, closing a tab creates an offset in the tab numbering that the tabs list doesn't compensate for.
If you're searching for a term as a basis for closing several tabs, best to search and then select tabs from the results list highest to lowest so that the offset created doesn't effect access to the remaining tabs in the results list.

Guys. This is awesome. Thanks.

please make it compatible with > 3.6b3

Highly useful. Integrates into the find bar (control F).. click 'find in tabs' opens a small window at the bottom of the window listing every found instance with its location. clicking the found item takes you right to it.

This is really useful, just please please make it compatible with Find Toolbar Tweaks, or even combine the functionality from both into one extension. Now I've discovered this I really don't want to have to choose!

Also, the "check for compatibility with other extensions at startup" option doesn't seem to work, as I only realised it was incompatible with FTT when I read through the other reviews, there was no indication from FIT that there was a conflict (well apart from the fact that it simply hadn't appeared!)

A very great extension overall though, just the compatibility issue to be sorted then this would be perfect :)

how to access? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have installed it, restarted, now where is it? I've spent 15 minutes searching for it in my Firefox: seems there is no toolbar, no button, no anything?

It is not compatible with a lot more extensions.

Find in Tabs overrides Firefox highlighting engine back with old code which was used in < FF 3.5

This is a great extension. One of the best of Firefox, however it is not compatible with context highlight and HighlightAll. :-(

Very good
Would be good if it could find tabs related to streaming: example with http://www.radionti.com/pages_live/nti-mp3-128k.ram in my linux OS : but if I search in FindTabs "nti", it doesn't find it

Nice, but needs to be compatible with "Find Toolbar Tweaks" to earn a fifth star (and a contribution). I hate having to pick one or the other....

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.5).
