It doesn't even do what it says. Like someone else already pointed out, no change. Thought it would be nice to add functionality like linkifying and segmenting the URL address to parent levels clickable with a combination of touch interactions to focus/touch to open segments of the web address. I Guess nothing fancy like "Advanced Location Bar" is available for android. Too bad. Last updated 2012!? Did fennec even exist back then, what the!
Installed this add-on. Nothing has changed. Am I doing something wrong here?
Bravo! It should be a default one...
thank you, dev, for the add-on. why Mozilla thinks we'd prefer to look at annoying title info instead of URLs, I will never understand.
I can't understand why the browser developers will not place the URL in the top bar or at least provide the option through settings or about:config, but this at least this add-on is available. It works as advertised and allows me to have the URL show in the top bar. If I could give it more stars I would.
thanks for the addon works great, the decision to hide the url by default is incredibly dumb.
I would like to try this but can't download
I apologize for the inconvenience. When I checked the issue, as you pointed out, the download link (a green button) was visible from a smartphone but invisible from a tablet like Nexus7. Unfortunately, I have no idea why the such differences occur. However, A similar issue has already been reported on Bugzilla (Bug733276). Please see the following page. Thank you.https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=733276
