On Debian "wheezy" FEBE still doesn't close automatically... maybe let FEBE make a log file, for debugging...

Turn off sounds

In some *nix distros, nsISound raises an exception. Try turning off "Play sounds" in FEBE options > How to backup.

Maybe add some free online backup sites to FEBE.... most people don't want to pay for this kind of services. And there are a lot of free online backup services available..

Box.net IS free

Currently FEBE offers online backup storage with only one provider – Box.net. Had you bothered to read the integrated help files (FEBE Options > Box.net > click blue "I" icon) or visited the Box.net pricing page (http://www.box.net/info/pricing-plans) you would have discovered that Box.net does indeed offer a free 1 GB storage plan.

Please do a little research before posting negative, misleading and false "reviews".
