This saves me a lot of time for quick inspection on accessibility features of a website.
Sadly the plugin isn't under active development anymore. Is this about to change? I already found a bug or two after playing around for some minutes...
Very nice addon
It's very useful in the beginning but soon you'll learn to cope without it. There should be more visual clues on breaks (after a paragraph etc.). HTML5 tags are not supported.
I'm redesigning a website for a client, who wants it to be more friendly for visitors with disabilities. This addon helps me test my code for screwups ("bulletone.gif, bullettwo.gif, bulletthree"... arg!) and saves a lot of headache!
I have a hidden disability and use Kurzweil 3000 to read all text documents. I also used Kurzweil to read the web, but I couldn't get the program to work consistently after Firefox 4.0. I would end up copy/pasting from the Firefox to Kurzweil, and it was very labor intensive. Thanks to your add-on, now it is much easier to get Kurzweil 3000 to work with Firefox 17.0.1.
An excellent tool for making websites screen-reader friendly. A must-have if you're developing for sites that need to be accessible.
Thanks for this great tool. The developer seems to have done careful research into the subject before making this. I highly recommend it to website developers interested in website accessibility.
An excellent, easy to use, and highly recommended tool that provides great insights for web developers. Congratulations!
i created an account just so i could thank you for this. ive just started working again on webdev skills and wondered how to handle this.
thanks for sharing.
Great tool to use in working towards ensuring section 508 (http://www.section508.gov/) compliance of a web page. For the newest version (firefox 3 compliant) check their site (http://www.standards-schmandards.com/projects/fangs/).
