Three problems with this:
1) It stores all usernames and dislikes on the doweb.fr server, making your information no longer private and capturing tons of data.
2) It uses ajax to repeatedly go back to this server, causing slowdown in FF
3) No one who doesn't have this add-on will see your dislikes.
This could have been better implemented by storing a regular comment with just the text "dislike". If users have this add-on, they would see it with the thumbs down interface just like "Like". For users without the add-on, they would just see a comment that says "dislike" and would still serve the same purpose.
1 : Yes we store who dislike what, but without storing information we can\'t say who dislike what. We don\'t capturing \"tons of data\", we just get what the plugin need to work.\r\n2 : It\'s an experimental version, I\'m fixing bug and the new version seem to fixe the slowing problem.\r\n3 : Of course, it\'s a firefox plugin.
