Inoperate With Nihtly Australis 28.0a1 New Interface
update this Old Addon is necessary
addon Classic Theme Restorer no resolve the Problem
Very deatailed statistic from this add-on!
It is a great add-on, very handy. I wish you would make it moveable, and also more detail in the options menu.
it would be useful if the status bar could be set to pop up at top of the page below the url bar, its easier to see.
changing background color does not update untill you disable custom style and re-enable it.
classic statusbar style does not seam to show at all and it was the default setting
it could be nice if the separators could have a custom color or be hidden or automatically styled according to background color, rather then same as text color.
being that the interface is only colored, it looks kind of painted, some graphics could be nice like glass overlay frames or something other?
you could also provide toolbar buttons/controls of sidebar feature like dl speed, dl page/page total etc as an alternative use of this addon, if thats even possible for addon to do?
its a nice addon, i am looking for something to display these informations but i think it needs more options for making it more compact/take less space and possibly some graphic bitmaps default presets for appeareance for the statusbar, in case you are not using any theme that style this. just some ideas to help development
I'm using this with Status-4-evar, Download Status, and Link Status Redux, all displaying in the add-ons bar. While it does crowd some of these out in 'classic style', it is working just great in 'new style'. Taken all together, I'm getting a great big info readout! This add-on completes it. Even though I've got other page diagnostics going, I still need this info. Thanx!!!
Can't vouch for accuracy on complex news sites, but on the sites I visit, it's looking pretty darn good :)
Unfortunately on many sites it is very inaccurate. With an empty cache, try loading a site like CNN, see the counts add up, only then to revert to some marginal number upon completion, listing that the entire page is only 70KB and took 2.3 secs. All while yslow says 1.2MB and 53 secs. The latter being correct. Tried with several other sites too. It erroneously reports that the abcnews page is only 155KB while yslow pegs it at 1556 KB. Both said 45secs. Then later extended changes its numbers??
This is on Firefox 20.
So, sometimes this add-on has it right, but in initial testing it is often a miss, at least partially, only reporting part of the true load or time that expired.
images in google search blink and the same with google maps street view!
the problem is with google... their sites are complex, and the 'target' URL is *nothing* like that you see on the URL bar.... :(
(and of course, the 'help' they provide is hopeless!!!)
- if you have adblock, hold down the keys Ctrl Shift V to get a list of 'blockable items'...
If anyone has a clue what one is 'streetview' that would sure help!!
If you notice the date of the last update, the dev has most likly run out of money or spare time to do so, and I see not other app similar to this... :/
Although the description says it does, it does not.
At least for me.. I see it in your pictures though.
Also, make it switch the information when I switch tabs, and work in the background. For example, if I click on a link, change tabs, then go back when loaded, it doesn't display the correct information. Anyways, thanks!
Thanks for this addon. Helps a lot.
I have only one problem. The "Don't show on these sites" feature doesnt work! I want google.com to be excluded in the list, but somehow it doesnt work. Plz correct it.
Супер! Мне, как фанату оперы очень понравилось. еще бы сделать чтобы отображало куда идут запросы (как в опере)
Just displays useful information and that's all, simple! This is a really handy add-on and behaves just like it is supposed to be except that ignores my customization in classic style on add-on bar. Every time I start firefox, removes everything on the left and places itself on the left corner which bugs me out. I like progress bar and status text on the left(thanks to the status 4-evar) than extended statusbar stuff. I haven't used this add-on for a while. I wanted to use it again but it's stuck on the left now with ff 16 beta and hope this will be fixed.
Works as promised, except the data update when switching tabs. In classic style labels we can see "KB" and "KB/s", but not "img" or "sec" for images and loading time. The bar in the classic style is fixed to the left, and this is not configurable, which forces all add-on bar items to be shifted right at each startup of the browser. I know that the concept of ESB is not floating, but I always avoid fixed extensions in my add-on bar. Only this took away two stars of Extended Statusbar.
It's Amazing ! :)
It's easy to monitor my download progress.for get maximum benefits use with "download statusbar"
Download progressbar or indicator doesn't work in Firefox 12. When I'm downloading files in status bar is nothing shown.
I tried also "New style" option and it's not convenient and looks ugly. I hope to have fix for downloads indicator in status bar. I like this extension and I don't want to change it with another.
Nowhere to see download progress without download manager open this affects all versions after FF 4.0.
Finally, after years, I discovered the autohide function of the new look. I'm now happily keeping this addon with autohide, since without it I was about to disable it for taking so much status-bar space.
Small, nice and useful. :)
Very great addon, thank you, wondering about feature to move from status bar to toolbar or bookmark bar, it will be perfect, i think.
Works with FF 13 (64bit)
It is unable to run with ShowIP extension in any version :S.
could not work properly on multi-tab.
also, the total download size often differs with opera status bar.
it seems the images loaded on some site are not counted as well though i have already cleaned the cache. for instance image loaded from gmail message not counted as total downloaded size.
hope this addon will improve in the future, or will be included in future firefox version. :)
keep up the good work!
great addon but makes the close button on the addon bar dissapear, also it displays the info of the last loaded tab instead of the selected tab
