Me too. I have 20+ add-ons installed, so it took me quite some time to find out. Once the runtime error is fixed, I'll rate it 10.

It did on my sys, no prob, though.

Happily used this extension for some months - but have now had to remove it as it was causing FF to run very slowly & generate script timeout warnings.

Recently upgraded AV software to ESET NOD32 v3 and found that FF was running very slowly. Reinstalled FF and extensions & it ran at normal speed at first. Then I had to upgrade a couple of extensions - not, so far as I remember, Extended Cookie Manager - and found FF running slowly again. Disabling Extended Cookie Manager resolves this problem, so I've now had to uninstall it.

Problems with new FF version Not yet rated

ECM has issues with scripts in the latest FF version
(2.0.0.11). ALL pages are throwing script warnings.
I disabled all add-ons and tried each one of them
alone to determine that it was ECM. Pages are taking
5-10 minutes to load. Hope you can fix it because
I've used ECM for years and loved it.

Searches? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It's OK, you can change the cookie, WHILE YOU'RE ON THE APPROPRIATE SITE, AT THE APPROPRIATE URL.

But the Firefox cookies control just needs a search function: let me put in part of a URL, give me all matches, let me change permissions there.

The way cookes are listed, it is almost impossible to find cookies: sub-directories, including www, are each listed alphabetically & separately from the main website listing.

So another solution would be to list cookies alphabetically BY DOMAIN NAME, NOT BY SUBDOMAIN:

mydomain.com
www.mydomain.com
subdirectory1.mydomain.com
yourdomain.com
www.yourdomain.com

etc.

Terribly Slow Not yet rated

There's something very wrong with this extension. Running FireFox 2.0.0.9 and with this cookie manager enabled every site I browse crawls. MSNBC took 5 minutes to load. Not sure what the problem is but I tried Permit Cookies extension and it works perfect.

The best of those Cookie-Tools Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It looks good and allows quick access to allow or block cookies on domains or subdomains. I think it's better than other addons like Cookie Culler. But sometimes it doesn't work 100%, so it allows cookies on domain.de, but also on .de - if domain.de has no subdomain. That's weird. And sometimes the Icon is grayed out so you have to set permissions manually. But this are small things surely get fixed in new versions.

Possible problem - slow tab changing Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Seems to suffer from same problem as CookieSafe; *very slow* tab changes while tabs are loading. Makes FF unresponsive when multiple tabs are loading. Nice interface though. Hope dev can rethink implementation.

Well done, I find it really useful and bug-free!
