It is ashamed that the highest version of this extension that works with firefox 2.0* currently is version 0.3.1 .

I hope that the author will atleast attempt at porting atleast SOME of the features and upgrades in the later versions to a port that would work with firefox 2.0.0.* .

Sorry

This extension modifies netError.xhtml file, and that file is changed when Firefox comes to 3.x, that's why the current version only support Firefox 3. Once Mozilla change the file again, I may update ErrorZilla Plus to support only the latest Firefox.

I did plan to work on a version that dynamically, rather than statistically, modifies the netError.xhtml so that it could work on any version of Firefox. But I'm a graduate student and currently working on a paper. I may write the code after the submission.

Thanks for suggestion!

It's great that you added the proxify function, this way I can see if it's the cause of a faulty server or if it's our IP blocker.

And @splinter: That'd be pretty hard to do something like that. Although it's possible.

Nice, but needs to be improved Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I want to use ErrorZilla Plus to bypass our company blocking of some sites.
However, when a site is blocked, I don’t get an HTTP error, but instead, I’m being redirected to denial page. Can ErrorZilla Plus be improved so I can configure it that if a page is being redirected to a specific URL, it should show its “Server not found” error page, so I can see what page was blocked, and try using it via a proxy?

I understand

I understand, you mean error page like HTTP 404, right? I think the HTTP error pages are on the servers, not customizable by the browser. So, I am sorry for this feature.

Works well on Firefox 2 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A great replacement for the old gcache plugin I was using.

I hope this one is continued to be developed and is not forgotten when Firefox 3 is released.
