Great add on with iconset and whatnot. My one criticism would be that with pinned tabs, there is no highlight for a notification (e.g., when Twitter is pinned, ordinarily it shines blue when there are new tweets).
Other than that, I love it and it fits perfectly with elementary - thanks!
Awesome theme! It's so beautiful that makes me wanna keep staring at it the whole day!Just one thing, if you let me ask: in the customization, if I set it to show only text instead of icons, my favorites bar moves up and down when I pass my mouse over it, and it's so irritating! Could you please fix that? ;xBut anyways, congratulations! This is what I was looking for!------------------------(where is the option to reply a comment?) Wow! What a quick answer huh! No problem man. I see you are really commited to make this theme better, and that's what really matters. I really appreciate your attention.
thanks!
I can only fix some of those bugs in late September. sorry!
it's really cool!
thank you!
Install Add-on... restart Firefox and... BOOM!!! My eyes almost came out of their sockets! LOVE IT! = ) ) )
thanks! :)
Themes looks outstanding. It matches elementary theme perfectly and i can't see any bugs. But would it be possible for you to make version with dark menus background? (by default their color is inherited from gtk2 theme, and in your theme they are light grey with black letters, and i'd like them to have dark background with white letters). Anyway theme is really great :-)
Just to thank for the update regarding the download manager... ufff... i couldn't stand use other themes... :)Comment: I'm having a little clinch (since the very early releases) on the firefox button (that gear actually), on the mouse-over instance it moves a little bit itself to the left, and the whole tab list that are next to it it is also affected by a displacement of around 2 or 3 pixels... . I know, it is a detail, but it would be really nice to see it fixed in the next updates... I imagine that is a simple bug, :) Ok, that's it Thanks!!! your theme is AWESOME (...yeah yeah... i know... i just cant stop saying it ^_^) Good luck with your master ;)
EDIT:
I fixed the bug you mentioned in the upcoming release 2.4 (still in review by mozilla, but available in the versions section, check it out), please tell me if you see the bug persists. Thanks!
Well indeed the download manager problem is fixed - still missing a close button in left panel, only keyboard'shortcuts to close it [ctrl+h] or [ctrl+b] http://bit.ly/YzRY1i
[edit] Well indeed you're totally right about the toggle button, so fifth star !
I didn't think it was necessary at the time because the toolbar button used to open it is a toggle button, you can click again to close the panel. Doesn't that work for you? I thought it would give a cleaner look to the panel. But if people think it should be there, I'll try to think of something, like show the button on hover. Thanks for the input, anyway.
Great theme, except it breaks Firefox's Developer Tools.
Hi, the Dev Tools are in the process of being fixed. A bunch of new features in each new release of Firefox keeps breaking the theming. This stuff should land in the 2.4 release of the theme. :)
Awesome theme with elementary desktop theme!
Make this please for Windows.
Amazing! Integrates so well with elementary OS. I would like to see midori like tabs in future releases. Thanks!
Pure awesome! Tested with latest elementary luna and firefox 16.0.2. Bye bye midori XD
thanks! :)
I have to ask you this, do you prefer these tabs or midori like tabs? I'm launching a new version completely integrated with pantheon and luna, but I'm not sure if I should replace this one, or make a completely new addon...
This is great, and fits perfectly with Dan Rabbit's eGTK theme.
However, I have noticed one compatibility issue affecting at least two popular add-ons (and probably more). The userstyle and userscript editors within Stylish and Greasemonkey respectively no longer show up (making editing code, a vital function of these add-ons, nye impossible). I've contacted the developer of Stylish and he was kind enough to inform me that the issues (affecting several other themes also) may relate to an update to Orion (Firefox's syntax highlighting editor). It'd be nice if this incompatibility, which no doubt affects other add-ons also, could be fixed in the next release. For now, I have little choice but to switch back to the default theme whenever writing or editing userstyles/scripts.
thanks for your review!
I'm planning a new release with some improvements, but I don't have a schedule yet, maybe only in September because I have a tone of work now. I didn't know about that compatibility issue, I'll note that in my todo list for the next release.
I'm really sorry I can't fix that sooner. cheers!
Great theme... Thanks !!!
How can I modify your theme to close tab x to the right side ?
Hi, sorry for the late response, I was on vacation and after that I simply forgot about your question.
Well, you have to download the addon (don't install it), open the zip file, then edit chrome/browser/browser.css.
Once there, look for "/*tab-close-button on the left, tab-icon-image on the right*/", you have to change the -moz-box-ordinal-group order. Or simply comment it out (or even delete those few lines), because firefox default is "close" button on the right. Then save, update the zip file, and move it over the addons tab to install it.
If you have trouble doing that, I'll try to explain better. Cheers!
Cool :-) Thanks
Awesome !
thanks!
I'd have given this theme a higher rating had it not been for the awkward tab design--closing the tabs on the left side is just...strange.
I love this theme, and especially the gear box. But it is going to take some getting used to now that the tab close x is on the left side and not the right side.
Yes, this is based on Dan's mockups for elementaryOS. They use the tab close button on the left to be consistent with the way you close the application windows. If I had a bit more coding skills, I could make it optional, but I don't know how to do it.
Hi Zeeeeee,
Thank you for the reply. I saw the update, I am gonna try it now. Nice work!
I'm using it on Xubuntu 11.10. It integrates well with the default theme (Graybird, based on Elementary). Thanks!
Works great on Jupiter itself ;)
The only thing bugging me is the button to access the menu with the tabs beside it and the favorites tool bar that makes everything ugly because of the line separator with the address bar, but I suppose it's part of Firefox itself, right ?
actually you should install the "movable firefox button" here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/movable-firefox-button/ to be able to move the menu button next to the address bar, like in the elementary guidelines. about the favorites bar, it is possible to remove that line, but this work is based on elementary mockups, which have some sort of separator line. I'm working on a new version, with a much better favorites bar. I'll release it soon.
Great. Using it in Ubuntu 11.10
Thank you! I've been working on a new version based on DanRabbit's new mockup tabs for elementary Luna, almost ready, but I'm probably going to name it Luna Firefox. Stay tuned!
Installed this theme on Ubuntu 11.04 and it really is nice! I'm wondering too if a version for Thunderbird is on its way becsue this would be so cool... :-)
Thanks foor the great theme!
Just added this theme to make firefox integrate with elementary jupiter os a bit better, and its great. very well done.
Замечательная минимальная тема для фокса, отлично подходит для нетбука!
