Very useful; somewhat buggy Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful. Well designed, clear and easy to use.

On occasion the commands will not register properly - at least for 'save image'. Lately the add-on has stopped working occasionally, causing the need for a restart.
The review by "sut" is better detailed in this regard and I agree with his words.

Still, I recommend this. Good job to the dev.

Firefox 29.0 b7 DragIt 3.2.2 does not save the images from the cache and download again

3.2.1 seems to work in Firefox 28.0 on Mac Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use DragIt 3.2.1 on Firefox 28.0 on Mac OS 10.9.2 without problems. However, I can't say this for all functions as I have deleted every default action after installation and only set up those that I really want to use.
Firefox reacting unpredictably was too confusing for me. If others feel the same, why not add a 'clear all entries in DragIt' or 'clear all in this panel' function?

Great extension, but it removes navigation bar when enabled and inhibits to create new bars, you can create it, but they disappear after restart.

Is it me? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

A very useful tool but it keeps opening two new tabs each time I make a simple → mouse gesture.

Is there something wrong with me or is it a bug?

Very good Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was a user of EasyDragToGo which I considered the best addon of this type, but after it stopped working with newer Firefox versions I discovered this extension. It's even better and allow more customization.

Have used the QuickDrag extension for years, primarily to download images via drag and drop, but this function no longer works in recent versions of Firefox so I thought i'd try DragIt to see how it compared.

Whilst DragIt offers a far greater array of mouse gesture functions, it cannot match the reliability of QuickDrag when it comes to downloading images. Having used DragIt fairly intensively of late I have found that certain image files just won't download (a message box pops up after a few seconds and informs you of this), other image files download but have a .htm file extension tagged on the end of the filename i.e. example.jpg.htm. It's easy enough to rename the extension to .jpg but sometimes the files are of zero filesize and are therefore useless. After trying a few times with DragIt to make sure i have performed the mouse gesture correctly. I have too often found myself having to eventually download images the standard way by right-clicking and selecting 'Save Image As...' which is both frustrating and time consuming. QuickDrag never had any of these issues.

Let's hope future updates fix these issues because I like many of the other functions of DragIt, hence the 4 stars

Awful Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have used the previous, simpler, version of this extension for years, and I become rather dependent upon it. It did exactly what I wanted it to do, and it did not keep doing things that I did not want it to do. For this extension to be at all useful for me, there would have to be an option to turn off *all* of the gestures and let me put back on the ones that I want. If there is such an option, I apologize, and would someone please tell me where it is, because as it is, this extension is not worth the trouble to me.

It would be just the very best and smartest gesture add-on among all others, if the authors would have fixed ONE GREAT BUG: when DragIt is active, the cursor starts to appear not in the address line, but in the search line of the side panel (Bookmarks) when Firefox opens. This is completely unacceptable, that's why I had to stop using it. It's a shame, really! I would have used it with great pleasure if the cursor were in the address line when Firefox starts!

And when examining the file and image file in, delete the ".htm" seen in the image viewer.
When the drag It 3.0.1 and was saved as image file.

1. Does not put a referrer when opens a new tab, and this breaks add-ons like Tab Bar which use the referrer to group tabs.
2. Does not follow the "Firefox default" rule to determine position of a newly opened tab.

A Spritually Relieving Addon :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks for this Addon I was tired of going to cotext menu filling up save options and then saving pictures. U have brought me such relief from this repititive mechanical job.Now I can save not only pictures but also my favorite qoutes and articles with just one gesture. I used a read a lot and find a lot of spiritually enriching stuff but then didn't have so much patience and time to cut copy paste everything. Now with this addon I will save all those quotes in txt files and then join them into one file using terminal commands.I request you to kindly continue its developement in future too.
I swear it gives such a relief from drudgery acts while browsing. Now I know best addons are not necesaarily the one's most used ones

Works perfectly for what I do. I drag links up or down to open them in foreground or background tabs. And export or import my DragIt settings. ~Happy~

Despite I've always missed the good old drag de go, drag it was not bad as well. But it (again) hasn't been working for image download after firefox was uptated and image saving is the only feature of the add-on that I use but it is so handy and I don't understand why a handy add-on like this is never updated on time?
