It's Great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's very convenient compared to other extension!
It's better to use the current engine to search when drag to spare space.

Please make tiles smaller or do something else to prevent the extension from reacting to *any* drag'n'dropping.
Otherwise it's getting annoying real fast, even when the original idea is rather good.

Drop to assigned folders? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very nice add-on, thank you very much! All my surfing transformed into pure joy after installing this! What I am missing (and hoping to be implemented soon), is the folder assignment for a few kinds of folders. First, for Links, ie. Wiki, YouTube, Tech etc. into different bookmark folders. Second, for Pages / Pics / Music / ... (where to be downloaded upon dropping, without Save as... dialog. Third, Notes - the selected portions of text. Thank you very much in advance!

Mark the drag & drop operation has handled when dropping text outside of any zone. 1.54 behavior caused a default Firefox search... T.T

As a search-addict, this add-on is a must-have! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on is awesome. I use it combined with another add-on, “Add to Search Bar” that allows to add any search engine to both Goole search bar and Drag & Dropzones (even those you cannot add with the default “Manage Search Engine” function within Google search bar).

I’d just have two lil suggestions of improvements:
1/ Allow setting options to open search result in a pop-up window (for instance, I usually use wordreference to translate words in pages and I’d like the result to show up in a pop-up window rather than a new tab in order to keep on reading while the pop-up page is downloading; that said for other searches, say Google, I prefer it to open in a new tab; that’s why I’d like to have the choice to define settings of how it opens for each search engine)
2/ Allow syncing the add-on through Firefox sync cuz I use a PC and a laptop and each time I customize Drag & Dropzones I need to do it two times

Finally, lemme reply to shiios who was asking to "make an option that if you drag something to an empty space, it would do nothing instead of trying to make it go to the domain. This gets very annoying if I accidentally dragged something and want to cancel it but I don't have any options"…

Dude, just press ESCAPE key while dragging, it works like a charm :)

Great Addon, A few suggestions to make it even better! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A great addon for me. Congrats on creating it buddy. Here are a few more suggestions to make it even better :
1.Enable a hotkey to show the grid
2.Enable putting bookmarks folders in the grid so that we can put a bookmark in a desired folder in 1 step. (No other addon lets you put a bookmark in its folder in less than 3 steps, your addon will become unique if you did this - I imagine that many people will use it solely to create bookmarks. So think of doing this)
3.Enable exporting preferences to a text file and importing them back from the same text file.

AMAZING, JUST A FEW SUGGESTIONS Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very creative add-on. This extension is very original and defines what firefox customization is all about that other extensions are lacking. They just replicate functions of others and not try something new and innovative. This saves me lots of time and it really is addictive to use. But this extension is far from perfect and I have a few gripes about it.
-make an option that if you drag something to an empty space, it would do nothing instead of trying to make it go to the domain. This gets very annoying if I accidentally dragged something and want to cancel it but I don't have any options
-second, on youtube, the player always stays on top of the grid, make the grid on top of everything
-and lastly, the major lacking of this addon that can compensate my problems above is the lack of options. More customizability, large favicons displayed on the center for a more polished look, resizing and having a custom amount of grids, and assigning what it does if you dragged an item in a blank space is really must.
Still, I give it 5 stars for originality and usability, please don't let development die and I hope you update this extension soon., cheers!

This addon is - in my view, probably the best Firefox addon there is. Really useful, and works really well. Saves time and effort

Conflict with Upload zone Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Since I don't use google I don't know if it the same issue as nmout, but today I found this add-on conflict with deviantArt sta.sh upload zone. And when I think of it, maybe this is why I can't use skydrive drag&drop...

This addon is very efficient in quick searching for selected text. Its not perfect however, it eliminates the standard feature of dragging selected text into unoverlayed edit controls which I was used often also. Silly, can it be fixed in next version?

A refreshing alternative! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have used other menu editors to tame the out of control context menu and put them in my collection in the past. I had missed this one and after spending some time configuring and playing with it this one is growing on me. The more I use it the more I like it! This is immediately going in my collection!
