Only one of its class I know about for Firefox, performs great, and has been a temporary solution when HCTP lost drag window capability temporarily on some Firefox update.
Nonetheless I experienced some occasions where it went mad and moved window out screen, probably a mouse/driver/OS issue but not sure; to restore things I needed to use Task Manager (Windows) to select the out-of-screen window in the list and maximize/unmaxized it to regain control. Perhaps this could have been avoided using this addon with an optional key+clic combination rather than single clic, this also may avoid moving window unexpectedly on clic by mistake.
Works perfectly. An add-on that feels essential. Now I wish all programs had this.
I think it compliments these two add-ons very well: 'Hide Caption Titlebar Plus' and 'Thin Tabs'.
At first I thought it sounded a little bit gimmicky, but after using it I can honestly say it's essential!
It's especially useful for Wacom Tablet users too.
I even find myself right-click dragging in Windows Explorer all the time now!
This extension is the only reason I cannot switch to Google Chrome.
There's just nothing else out there like this and once you've sampled it's goodness...
you'll never want to go back to titlebar dragging :)
Unfortunately does not work with gesture tracking extensions. It would’ve been better if it could analyze resize commands only on a specific area of the window.
I really love this because all my tabs are in my title bar which often leaves me with little space to drag the window. But what's missing is Windows 7 features to drag the window to the top of the screen to maximize, to the left to fill the left side, and to the right to fill the right side.
In addition, whenever/often when I right click somewhere there is flash, there is no way to let go of the Window; it follows your cursor as long as another app doesn't have the focus. This is really annoying, and before I'd have to close all of Firefox for it to let go. Luckily I found a somewhat okay solution, which is by right clicking Firefox in the taskbar, click open new tab, and then click Firefox. This will release the control my mouse has over moving Firefox. It's really annoying though...
Changing these two things would be great, thanks!
Fantastic. I have tabs in the title bar (using the "Tabs Always In Titlebar") addon which frequently leaves no empty space for my mouse to click on and drag a window. This is the perfect solution!
You'll wish Drag-2-Move functionality was built into all windows after using this awesome extension. Works so flawlessly you might as well get it even if you still have a title bar.
Perfect! It really helps moving windows, which is important when titlebar-hide addons are used.
I wish there was Doubleclick-2-Maximize addon, to do Maximize/Restore window on right doubleclick. As it would also be very useful in combination with titlebar-hiding addons (as many users left-doubleclick titlebar to maximize/restore windows, instead of using maximize/restore button on top-right corner).
And what does this addon do? I see no useful functions in it. =)
It's very cool, but i find a bug that i can't leave my mouse from the flash after i click the secondary mouse button on the flash！ Can you repair it? thank you!
Super, thank you
This Add-on really improves the Hide Caption Add-on.
