Would be a great addon if it didnt open a NEW FF window and a new tab in that new window, i mean it kind of takes away the purpose of it.

A simple addon...yet the function should have been integrated into firefox from the start! Now i want an "Addons in Tab" addon too

Works flawlessly in 3.5.2, I LOVE THIS ADD-ON! Now I can click on the FF icon in my Windows 7 taskbar and not have the download window in there, it's so easy to keep track of downloads with this! Adding it to my permanent list of add-ons to get whenever I install FF on a new machine, great job!

One suggestion - if possible, have the clear/options/search bar be right below the list of files instead of the bottom of the window.

I also missed F3 functionality so I searched around.

The Download Manager Tweak extension Add-On does the same thing. The Firefox 3 version is available on the site:
http://dmextension.mozdev.org/

Alternatively you can create a bookmark item on your toolbar and link it to the following url:
chrome://mozapps/content/downloads/downloads.xul

(you can set it to open in sidebar too)

It *almost* works fine on FF3.03. The Clear List and Remove From List buttons do not work properly. You have to hit the F5 button to update the list.

Version 0.0.8 works in FF3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I can't live without this one! Thanks!

TIPS:
To get this to work in FF3, do this:

- Click "See all versions"
- Log in to be able to download version 0.0.8 (Experimental version)
- Save the XPI-file to disk
- Open the XPI-file in, for example WinRAR
- Open the file install.rdf in a text editor (Wordpad)
- Change this line:
3.0pre
- To this:
3.1
- Save the file, and answer Yes to the question on whether you would add the new file to the archive.

WORKS GREAT!
