Not workig well with latest android Dolphin Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I now have to CONSTANTLY logout and log back in if I want to transfer from FF to Dolphin on my Nook HD+. If I don't do so, then Dolphin Connect will REFUSE to send anything even though I have Dolphin ALREADY OPEN!! What's worse is that the developers hardly ever listen to reviewers or even bother with updating this extremely glitchy addon.

Works when it feels like it Rated 1 out of 5 stars

So buggy and unstable that it's not even really worth installing. There have been too many times when this would suddenly stop working for DAYS before going back to normal that I can no longer trust anything from Dolphin.

No longer works yet again! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Just when I think I've gotten all of this thing's quirks figured out, it throws another monkey wrench at me! It was working fine earlier yesterday, but now I can't get it to connect no matter what I do! Wish I could give this thing 0 stars since that is what it deserves!

If you have more than one user account on one machine that uses Firefox, you MUST install this addon to ALL copies of FF even if the other users don't have a dolphin account in order to be able to get this to connect. Also you MUST be logged into the SAME dolphin account on ALL FF copies. Otherwise if you don't it won't connect if more than one user account is active and you'll just get an infinitely spinning circle!

Found possible cause for malfunctioning Rated 3 out of 5 stars

If two people using Firefox (one with Dolphin Connect, one without) on the same machine under separate user accounts may affect the addon. I noticed that Dolphin wouldn't connect when another user of my laptop had their account active. Logging off of that account won't fix the problem. Restarting the machine and using only one account was the only way to fix it.

Back to misbehaving after update Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Was working for the past few months with no problems, now it's back to its old tricks of refusing to connect after signing in. The syncing circle just keeps on spinning so I'm back to being forced to use another addon to send pages. I can only transfer the pages I want with Dolphin's tab button on the browser, which adds more steps to the transfer process.

Don't waste your time downloading this horrible thing. It'll work fine for a few weeks then it'll refuse to connect for days! Uninstalling and reinstalling won't fix it nor does deleting dolphin related cookies. It also does not stay put where I place it on my Firefox toolbar, instead it puts itself wherever it feels like it. Also it seems that the developers don't give a darn about fixing their products. Anyone who says this is great and works is probably working for Dolphin, do not believe them!!

Edit: I found out the problem as to why it suddenly refuses to connect. Upon inspecting the info on the Web Management page under Advanced Setting, it either says Network error, refresh page or no devices connected. However, my Nook HD+ IS connected and when I refresh the page, A stranger's device is listed instead of mine! Disconnecting my Nook and reconnecting it doesn't work. I have to wait for their stupid servers to get with it and correctly recognize my Nook. It's obvious that the extension is giving me access to OTHER USERS' accounts instead of my own! My rating is now -10 stars instead of 1. I highly recommend Fox to Phone as an alternative -- one drawback though, it requires the Chrome to Phone app installed on your phone/tablet.

[Edit] Dolphin has released a new update of their browser with updates to their sync service. Good news right? WRONG! Now this piece of crap won't even connect to my Nook even though it's on & signed in!

Still extremely buggy Rated 1 out of 5 stars

[Edited as of 5/12/14] Apparently no one at Dolphin cares about our reviews or they would have fixed this lousy thing by now. Also they removed their troubleshooting section from their website so we now have very little help. When it actually works for me, it's a miracle. When it doesn't, it's a frustrating piece of crap. Don't even bother downloading this unless you ABSOLUTELY NEED to transfer your tabs. I would give it 0 stars for all the problems I have, but FF is forcing me to give it a star.

Was great while it lasted. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I love using this to transfer pages to my Nook HD+, however there is a major glitch with this addon. It rearranges the icons on my Firefox toolbars whenever I leave FF open then come back a bit later. It also puts the Dolphin icon in the default spot whenever I start FF so I constantly have to manually put it back to where I want it.

[Edit] Changed my rating because you have forced me to sign in with Google which is causing problems with me. I have TWO separate Google accounts and since Google has MAJOR problems in reconciling my accounts, sometimes the WRONG account will be assigned to Dolphin connect. Also it is no longer syncing even with the CORRECT Google account signed into both Dolphin and FF.
