It has installed all right but...
Cannot login at all, can't create dolphin account, and when clicking on connect with google or facebook account NOTHING happens! crap :/
Installed but no icon and not accessible in FF27.0.1
Not working in FF 26.0. You get a blank page without any text.
Ne fonctionne absolument pas sur FF 26.0 fenêtre illisible et internal error on server. Aucune mise à jour depuis trop longtemps... viré !
Not quite working for FF26. As stated in the review below, you get a blank window. You can click on the invisible links and get it to work though. It takes some guesswork.
The Dolphin icon showed up right away, but when clicked it shows a blank window. Passing mouse over it indicates there are links there but you can't see them. Definitely not ready for use.
Works as expected, thank you
The add-on works perfectly fine on my Firefox and the browser works fine on my Nexus 5 & 7. I am not observing these issues many are seeing.
what a piece of trash. on android it just says 'searching for devices' forever and i can't access my other share options anymore. the firefox plugin just brings up a box with nothing in it. don't waste your time on this crap.
Updated to Firefox 25.0.1, browser crashes after a while due to this addon. Almost unusable now. Otherwise sync works well.
Version 1.3 seems to work fine for me with Firefox 25. This is a super handy little add-on. Simple, but effective way to transfer web pages between browsers.
Nothing happend when trying to connect with my Google Account. Does not work at all with Firefox 25.
Does what it claims. Flawlessly and instantly sends tabs from my Firefox browser to my phone and vise versa. Bookmark sync is also function.Does require some computer savviness to set properly. Hense the bad reviews by people that don't know how to work it.
Side note: Although you cant move the icon in Firefox, that is hardly a hinderance. Customizable keyboard shortcut is the way to go.
Some say there should be a Dolphin icon -- using latest version of Firefox (24) but this add-on never seems to keep up to date -- -- icon appears, but disapears as soon as more than one tab opened, not re-appearing when tabs closed -- making it totally unusable for its supposed purposes -- makes it not worth using -- use Maxthon instead, having both desktop and android versions makes it dead easy to sync / push, unlike this rubbish
works flawessly in dolphin hd in android but i want to work with dolphin mini browser how to do that?
Seems like a useful add-on and I have had it installed for a quite some time, however, I haven't actually used the function very often and the inability to move the icon is annoying enough to outweigh any theoretical usefulness.
Does a fantastic job - connecting my browser on Firefox in Linux to my phone. However, there is one very irritating thing: moving the button does not survive a browser restart. I wish to put the button elsewhere, but it will not allow it. Also it would be preferable if the icon were monochrome.
Other than that, very nicely done.
While the push-to-device features would previously fail to function with NoScript running, it seems that the issue has been resolved recently.
This is now one of my favourite addons for Firefox
How to "Send a number/text from Firefox to your phone and start a call or SMS right away"?
First, took me forever to find that Dolphin icon in the upper right corner (After restarting FF later, the icon is there no more, don't know how to get it back). Made a mistake starting to sync with tons of tabs open. They got transferred onto my Samsung Device quickly. They are under the Bookmarks/ Cloud tabs and there is absolutely no way to delete them from the mobile device. Then, the download continued, guessing from the turning circle which I interrupted after about an hour. No additional bookmarks were imported and I am only left with the useless undeletable tabs that I had opened in FF when initiating the sync. Boy, if every profession was doing their job as this supposed syncer, we would be a third world country fast. (Using Firefox 20 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2)
It says it's syncing but never does.
Even after the "update" this is STILL the worst piece of software I can remember. And I'm not exaggerating. Not only are the controls chaotic and incoherent, worse still the sync just doesn't work. With regard to the rave reviews ("It works !!"), well, a little healthy skepticism vis a vis their source is advised.
What a shame. Dolphin itself is probably the best browser for Android. How could the same outfit produce something as plain awful as this addon ?
Terrible add-on. Does not work. Here's why...
1. Syncs old bookmarks even after deleting account and restarting
2. Sync sometimes goes array and creates multiple copies of bookmarks on your desktop Firefox
3. The new changes/bookmarks are not reflected even when you attempt to resync
4. Have more than 1 mobile device? Forget it! No way is it going to sync 2 mobile devices and desktop PC flawlessly...tried numerous times and can't get the second mobile device to sync even the basic bookmarks
The only thing that works is...
Sending a website from one device to another...
If this add-on worked, it would be great. Currently, it's a POS.
- SEND URL TO: EASY&QUICK
needs just 2 clicks, always works
- SYNC: NOT WORKING
doesn't sync or mess up all bookmarks
- CONTROL PANEL: UNCOMFORTABLE
options scattered among sveral pages uneasy to reach
Now works with Firefox 22, but still incompatible with NoScript and no response from Dolphin support at all.
