Thanks for the new version, couldn't hope to see it so soon. Although it stopped working with custom URL chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html (Fast Dial extention)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.0). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
I can confirm this, but Firefox says it's an illegal URL
In WebExtensions there are some restrictions when opening this kind (privileged) URLs.
I'll try to investigate something, but I think it's impossible to implement any workaround here, and we have to wait until FF developers add this permission in WebExt.
Very Useful Extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thank you for putting in the time (and it dose show from the results) to create such a useful extension. The only negative is that it is not compatible with multiprocess. It would be great (if possible) to make your extension compatible with multiprocess. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.0).
I'll take a look
Thanks for your comment.
Unfortunately I'm not an active firefox user currently. Sometimes I check FF's WebExtensions, but didn't have time for rewriting this extension.
If you can help me and give some information which version is multiprocess, how can I enable it and test extension there, I'll try to fix when get some spare time
Nice addon, bad name Rated 4 out of 5 stars
You should rename this to "Do not auto-switch pinned tabs". As many users are incorrectly reading "auto activate" to mean that it prevents the pinned tabs from loading in the background. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.0).
Not working anymore Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Pinned tabs still loading with new firefox releaseThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.0).
Useless Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Pinned tab still activates in background after restarting browserThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0).
Could you explain what you expect and what does not work?

Used to be great - Doesn't work with 35.0.1 any more though..
**Edit: Working great now! However, I'm using the slightly newer version so I'm not sure if it was conflict with another add-on or not!
I've just tested in 35.0.1 and it works.
Are you sure it doesn't conflict with other addons?

Out of my 30 add-ons this comes second (behind adblock plus) in list of wouldn't want to do without having.
Pinned tabs are useless without this add-on.
"Don't Auto-Switch-To Pinned Tab" better name.
New Tab page is exactly what I like to see. Can understand desire to use custom link, so missing a feature.
Note: Pinned tabs are for web apps. News sites that you have to refresh don't belong there.
Less surfing in silence for me now grooveshark.com stays active and out of the way.
Finally pinned tabs work! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Every time I've tried pinned tabs, I've given up on them because they get in the way when I close regular tabs. But this addon works perfectly, and pinned tabs now do what I expect.
I''ve only discovered one very minor issue, and would happily give 5 stars if it used the browser.newtab.url setting (or a setting of its own) instead of opening about:home.
A Dud Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Installed, but wouldn't run on my Firefox.
Too bad. So sad.

how about a option, what to open when last non-pinned tab closed - empty page, home page, etc.?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1-signed).
Okay. I can get this option from FF settings.
I think I could add this functionality in next version

I'm still getting duplicate pinned apps even with this addon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1-signed).
I though I was the only one who had this problem Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Its funny, but I had no idea how much the default behaviour of firefo annoyed me, until I installed this addon.
close last tab > enter app tab > click a few links > realise you just messed up your whole 'system' and frantically click the back button > forget what you were looking for > click forward > mess up app tab AGAIN
I wish that opening a new normal tab when closing the last one was a buildin choice in the Firefox options menu, but at least now I can use this addon. Thanks a milion!
