Does what it's supposed to and customizable.
Funny, though: It doesn't hide the Mac OS X menu bar. :-D Couldn't resist...
Excellent
I had a great bug with Firefox 4 using Ubuntu 11.04 : there was no more way to see the menu bar.
This add-on fixed all.
Works well. But for the status bar feature, Autohide Statusbar is a more complete extension, I saw dmlite is for this purpose.
Also, this extension needs to measure time interval to autohide in miliseconds, not seconds, I don't understand why this setting is in seconds while the option to show is in miliseconds.
For those who want to hide more top toolbars, have an eye on Pimpoflage, and read my review ;)
nice, simple, and customizable.
I use this plug-in together with "personal menu" plug-in. perfect!
Nice, simple, does what it says on the tin.
I'm using it with Blocksite for simple parental control.
Would be good if there was an option to hide navigation toolbar at same time.
It's what i really needed on my FireFox system (specialy autohiding of menubar) !
Seems OK on FF 3.6...
Thank you !

Well, I'm still using FF 3.5 but I just found this add-on and I'm thrilled with it. I discovered that it plays nicely with the "foxiFrame" add-on (plus the many others i use) so anyone using 3.5 who wants to maximize their screen has a good option with that combo. Five stars! :)
Almost perfect. But, with one bug.
1) In disablemenu setted "autohide" and "show on mouseover" to "0".
2) In firefox "bookmarks toolbar" is on.
3) Using RSS feeds as bookmarks.
When I try to read a RSS and get with my mouse over top of the window enables menu.
For more details just write me a mail.

util and necessary, greate
Really useful addons :) Thank you.
A very useful addon, greatly increases the view are of firefox.
Fantastic! Two-thumbs up for creating this add-on. :)
When all other hide menu type addons failed for me, this one worked. And it's very easy to use, if I decide I wanna use the Menu again, I just press Alt+M and BAM it's back, if I don't want it no more, I repeat the process again. It's very awesome, and this goes well with Strata40 theme, and Strata Buddy for Firefox! :D Thank you so much for releasing it. I didn't think I was ever going to find one that actually worked for me.
great addon!
great addon!
Love it!
Works absolutely spiffingly and does exactly whats wanted of it, now all i have to do is find a bookmarks link button :) (Bookmarks Toolbar Sucks :P)

Excellent autohide extension. I put all of my navigation icons on the menubar, so this extension is perfect. Also, it doesn't require the statusbar to be either hidden or available only when hovering over links like Pimpoflage does. I use the extended statusbar extension and there is information on the statusbar I use constantly. Hiding it constantly or making it appear only when hovering over a link to see it is unacceptable; if the statusbar is made to show when hovering over links, it causes the browser to freeze up when going down a list of links and clicking on each one. Under those circumstances, the browser is trying to process the show statusbar instruction while receiving a multitude of those instructions along with instructions to open the webpages on a tab at the same time, and this causes a significant degree of hesitation in the browser's operation. This freezing up does not occur with this extension due to the fact that the statusbar can be shown at all times, which is not possible with Pimpoflage, and all those extra instructions to show the statusbar do not interfere with the browsers normal operation. The only improvement I would suggest is to have a mouseout pixel measurement from the top of the window so users could set the number of pixels from the top where the menubar would go back into hiding.
It works perfectly and doesn't conflict with Tab Mix Plus' feature that forces new windows to become new tabs like Pimpoflage does. My only complaint is that the status bar should appear when I'm hovering over a link, so I know where the link goes...
Just what I need.I ignored version check and it`s working fine. Thank you.
