This is a great extension but it would be better if you could choose what site to search.. I mean, not just Wikipedia or "Google Feeling Lucky", for example, I just want to Google a word or to look for a video on YouTube, so it would be great to have more options to choose or setup your own ones...

Useful, but I'd like the tab to be focused Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This extension saves me some time on cutting an pasting URLs that for any reason aren't proper hyperlinks. The link opens in a background tab, though, so I still have to select the tab manually. It would be a nice extra time saver if the tab would be focused automatically.

I can't change the order of direct link menu. For example I want it display in my right-click menu NOT the sub-menu of my right click menu.I need to right click, then click "direct link",and then "I am feeling lucky".Cound you change this ,to add an option to let user cound choose it by themself.

Can you please update this to work with FF3. I also tried going to the homepage but nothing is listed :(. I hope development hasn't stopped on this.

BTW anyone know of anything similar?

Handy! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Handy little extension. Brings back memories of Opera's 'Open URL' function. All I'm missing is 'Paste and Go'!

It's easy to add your own engines. Simply edit the search.js and menu.js in the installation folder -

The folder above is in your Firefox folder somewhere, in My Documents. Just run a search for it.

I changed 'i'm feeling lucky' to ordinary Google search in 2 minutes and added another. Bear in mind I have zero programming knowledge.

'respect my privacy'. If you can't be bothered then email me at gavin.19 @ and i'll send you the edited files with Amazon added.

Thanks a lot to the original author!!

Great! One suggestion though... Not yet rated

This is really nice! If you could add an option for "Amazon" to the list of Wikipedia and I'm Feeling Lucky it would be perfect.

Superb Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent job, simple and direct, with a commonsense choice of options.
Not bloated with a million options that will never be used.
I love it!

Great!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It is a great shortcut, especially when the assignments are piling up!!!
