Great tool. Only wish it had some options to change the pop-up appearance and size.

Go to Dictionary.com >> Tools >> Under "Third-party Tools" it'll have "Browser Plug-ins," just choose FireFox and add the ones you want.

Your software is confused!!!???? Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I'm using FF 17.01 at this very moment & about a month ago I was using FF 16.x. About, 30 min ago. I got an error message when I clicked on your install button telling me that "I need to have a Mozill-based browser to get the install". I think I left a message here a couple of months ago voicing the same difficulties.
Never had this problem before, except here, in 16 years I've worked full-time on the Net as a researcher.

3 Tools I Needed! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I enjoy creating technical drawings and simulations on my PC. However, so many times I am writing text (say a description block). Though my spellchecker comes up. It rarely knows the technical word or phrase (though I do add them, there are so many). Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com and Reference.com are all very useful for finding and also informing me about the word. At 1st I just wanted the proper spelling. Now as I use it more and more I use the definition or origin, possibly another word, maybe reference to a word I am using. These three search add ins are great for everyone from Engineering folks, Literacy folks, Students and casual users. Keep up the nice work!

I've been using this search plugin for years. Now suddenly it's "experimental?" Had to get it from another site as the link here was non-functional.

Dictionary.com search engine is great, I am using it all the time. How about creating one for its' companion Thesaurus.co and save us all a few extra mouse clicks? Keep up the good work. DWilson61

Thanks to those who pointed to:
http://dictionary.reference.com/tools/firefox.html

Much nicer to have their icon, and, once again, it is better than Miriam-Webster for casual use.

Can't understand why this isn't included by default, nor why I had to dick about with a registration just to get this 2nd rate version.

Do Mozilla have a deal to, ahem, encourage use of Webster?
Really pissed me off, whatever the reason...
