I find this a useful tool and missed it when was not compatible with SeaMonkey - for a time.
In version currently used I see the Monthly Calendar Display for April - shows as March. Dates appear correct - just the monthly label.
Similar issue for October and November.
Great little tool - hope the feedback is helpful.
Doesn't show up on status bar (or anywhere else) in firefox ESR52. Removed it.
Doesn't work on FF v46.0.1. Didn't even show up on the browser interface. Settings dialog allowed "Before or After" positioning choice, but no position numbers. Too bad. All I want is a clock / time-date feature on my browser as the "simple_timer-1.12-tb+fx" add-on is no longer available (least I couldn't find it). Seems this "Date Picker" is broken abandon-ware.
Version 22.214.171.124 Unable to change format settings. Can bring up "Options" menu, but changes made there do not stick. There seems to be no "Save" or "OK" button to get out. Must hit [esc] to leave Options. Using FF 44.0.2 with Classic Theme Restorer 1.4.8
It's a pity as I *really* could have used this.
Wonderful, awesome, perfect, love it!!!
Couldn't get it to work on FireFox 34.
I use this at work on a 32 bit XP machine and it works great. Can't see it onmy Windows 7 64 bit machine at home.
I make a comment about what I would like, then find out I can already do it. I just discovered that I can move status bar tools to an upper toolbar. So all I'm left wanting is for the calendar to stay where I put it.
For date format options, look at http://jamescookie.com/extensions/datepicker.html
Pretty good, handy, takes up little space. No support from website. Hard to configure as the config dialogue will not accept input.
NO DISPLAY of the MONTH of September in the POLISH LANGUAGE-today is DISPLAYED in MONTH of OCTOBER
pardon my ignorance but how do i add ':' between hours/minutes? thanks
Lo tengo instalado en todas las màquinas; es muy útil. Imprescindible
have always loved this little cal -- small, does one thing, and does it well. my only complaint is that i wish i could choose the toolbar to put it in. any hopes for an upgrade?
Using latest version from James Cook website and can't change date/time display format. When I change the format, it doesn't get saved! And I had to turn on the add-on bar to even get it to display at all. An O.K. addon but with the issues I'm having I can't give it 5 stars. Using FireFox 7 on Linux.
I don't like having too many Firefox extensions, but have been using Date Picker/Calendar for years. I changed from FoxClocks to this extension when I learned of its existence, and am glad I did. Unlike FoxClocks, Date Picker/Calendar is very light and not bloated at all. It works superbly - much better than the default Windows clock in every way imaginable.
This add-on has help our employees easily see the date/time and the one-click calendar pop-up is amazingly useful. The add-on works flawlessly and the author of this cool piece of code is a super nice guy (he quickly answered an email I sent him regarding a technical question on what's going on underneath his add-on's hood!)
Awesome add on! We had some conflicting issues with some other add on's and the developer helped us through and solved the problems! Can not be more happy with this add-on!
Nice little tool if you are on a computer with the calendar function locked down by administration.
Does what it's supposed to.
Works without problems on FF3.6.10 I'd like to use it with Thunderbird also. How about it developer? Or have you abandoned it as none of the requests seem to have been answered and it's only with 3.6 which is already released? It looks like this will be another add-on that dies... shame
There a few bugs that affect options some people might want. %k and %l only work in the calendar pop-up, not in the FF Status Bar (but then the time appears in Windows Task Bar just below anyways).
Week numbers in the calendar.
Fix bugs! And add languages...
Good idea, but %k doesn't work so 24h time display is N/A.
