One my favs add-ons ever!
I liked this one, it really helps wen you want to copy a whole table, but what about a portion and not only a single row or column
Work perfectly for me. Thank a lot.
Work perfectly for me. Thank a lot.
I'm on Firefox 3.6.4 and it worked fine for me. Thanks for this much needed add-on. It should be integrated into Firefox in my opinion.
Please change it back. The best part about the original was that you could quickly right-click a table and copy it. Now you have to pick from menu to do this simple task.
did nothing on FF 3.6 - copying a table via the context menu items was the same as copying the default way. also didn't see any option to copy as HTML or CSV.
This app is awesome! No more copying tables from the web and getting gobblety-gook as output. Thank you! Thank you!
Remember to support the developers of the apps you find useful. This is what makes Firefox so awesome. Time is money & every little bit helps these developers keep bringing us awesome apps & updates.
Absolutely awesome. It may seem like a small thing, but this plugin has just saved me hours by allowing me to paste a formatted table into Excel and then sort using my own choice of criteria.
Surprisingly useful. Saves much time and hassle.
Awesome plugin. Many thanks to the developer. This worked perfectly on Firefox 3.5.
Nice add on - makes it easy to copy only the column I need.
Works brilliantly for copy / paste tables to excel. Makes me happy every time I use it. My #1 favourite extension.
Очень простое, удобное в использовании дополнение. Помогло мне при работе с веб-страницей, которая "не хотела" нормально распечатываться - я скопировала таблицу, перенесла её в Ворд и получила красивый результат.
What changed in V1.0? I can no longer do a direct post to Excel; instead I have to go to 'Special Past' > Paste as Text. If they fix this issue it would be a perfect extension.
The issue has been fixed in version 1.1

Note- Does not preserve formatting or hyperlinks.
I found a WORKAROUND in STANDARD Firefox that does however--
Start the selection ABOVE the table in a non-table area. Drag down to the end of desired cell in table. Control-C. Paste into MS Word or Excel 2003.
(for Firefox 3.0.11 with or without Table2Clipboard)
(not good for copying small part of a big table)
Whilst this add-on allows you to copy and paste like with IE, I found it even better to just copy as normal (), then, in Excel, highlight the first cell or the group of cells and right click, then "paste special", "text". This puts the data into the individual cells but does not paste borders, highlighting, fonts etc., which is EXACTLY what I want. I just want the data into the cells without the formatting. (I am pasting banking transactions into Excel 2000 (9.0)) Jim
This was just what I was looking for =)
Incredible. It just works—beautifully even on my Mac using CMD+mouse drag. I'm grateful for this plugin!
Excellent addon. Does EXACTLY what it's supposed to do. Thank you.
Thanks a lot. Great add-on.
Great add-on to copy text. Couldn't manage to export cells with numbers. Excel saw those numbers as text, and I couldn't convert them to numbers, with the 'paste special' trick too.
Amazing extension. I've never seen a more straightforward and convenient way to copy and paste a table without the html stuff. Works great once you have understood the logic. Congrats. -bu
