- by WeaveWasGoodRustIsCrap, 5 months agoRated 1 out of 5Greed. A lot of greed has been invested to make this plugin work. this is NOT about protecting you but the income of Heilig Defense.
You can turn the plugin on and off. The result being most pages not working at all when turned on. Or the pages work but you are fingerprinted.
Unlike civilized plugins (adblock, noscript...) you can not turn this on or off based on the domain you are visiting without PAYING for a license. What a rip off.
Heilig Defense is not from germany as the name might suggest but rather run by some people who do not want to disclose their names in Arlington. They themselves feed of free software and use Let's Encrypt or PHP.
This plugin is just a moist idea by some greedy people. Most of the functionality is part of Firefox anyways or will be soonish.
- by icstars, 6 months agoRated 1 out of 5this extension is largely useless if one enables FPI and RFP (privacy.firstparty.isolate, privacy.resistFingerprinting) which is already built-in
lastly, no thanks to the wall-of-text proprietary license
Developer responseposted 6 months agoYour comment is largely useless because you clearly didn't bother to learn what this extension can do and why it provides better options to the built-in capabilities. Also, not agreeing with our licensing has nothing to do with the effectiveness of the extension.
