When using Google Reader it becomes slow

I find that this add-on makes my browser freezes when using Google Reader and change reading items.

Please fix this bug:
If the home page is set to blank, when firefox starts, it is not possible to use the drop down feature of the address bar, both via the keyboard's down key and via the small triangle at the end of the address bar.

Google Search Instant Results

Awesome add-on. One suggestion, if you could make this instantly search the way Google instant search works would make this add-on even more awesome. As in Google results pages are just showing as you type and in the case of typing a specific url the page just instantly navigates to the page you are searching for just like the Chrome search bar works and Google instant search works. This add on is so close to being just like this it just needs a little tweaking and it would be the best search bar add-on ever.

After installing the lastest cybersearch build, clicking on items in subscriptions list in google reader would freeze firefox for 1 second. I tested this in the lastest nightly build with a clean profile.

Tried both 2.3.0 & 2.3.1 and they both have a significant performance impact on the results pop-up/drop-down list compared to the previous 2.0.8 version I used. It is so bad that firefox becomes unresponsive for 5-10 seconds even after stopping typing. So, for now I've reverted to 2.0.8

incompatible with "Combine buttons"

I've been using both extensions CyberSearch and Combine buttons for long.
It's great to have a brand new major update released for CyberSearch.
I love these 2 extensions much and there was no problem.
However, both the new versions 2.3.0 & 2.3.1 of CyberSearch seems created some incompatibility with "Combine Buttons" and my toolbar icons were made strangely while I type something in the address bar triggering CyberSearch. This cannot be solved by customizing my toolbars again, and I can only restart my browser and this happens everytime i use my address bar. I have to go back to version 2.0.7 for my normal toolbar.

I'm glad Google is an option again, but I can't use it because it still breaks Firefox's "Switch to tab" feature.

Das ist ja mal cool - Suchergebnisse wenn ich bereits in die Adresszeile einfach was eingebe. Und das beste ist: Ich kann zwischen Suchergebnissen und Seiten, die ich bereits besucht habe zu dem Keyword auswählen. Echt Cooles Feature und funktioniert prima!

This one only googles everything, the instafox isn't customisable and fastestfox is just a selected text popup searcher. Can't use anything that doesnt work the way I want.

Please update this favourite add-on for FF 4!

Great but needs Firefox 4 support

Love this addon but with Firefox 4 final now out this really needs to be fully compatible, thanks!

Would love it more if it were officially compatible with Firefox 4.x

Likes:
- extends the searches on the address bar by listing a possible list of websites based on the keywords you type in (does as advertised)
- search is quick; little wait time for searches to appear

Dislikes:
- officially incompatible with Firefox 4.x
- BUT, appears to work with my Firefox 4.0 RC after downloading directly from http://cybernetnews.com/cybersearch/ and I've only tried it out for the past 2 hrs as of 12 March 2011

2012 Update : I found an addon named "Browse by name" by Ehsan Akhgari

I've always looked for an add-on that sends search results to a specified email address but this one seems just as awesome. Possibly the best FF extension out there.

Works perfectly for me and does exactly what I want it to - Google Web searches straight from the address bar. This add-on has been essential in my quest to add Chrome-like functionality and aesthetics to Firefox. For my purposes, the perfect combo!

really handy

Made Firefox slower, especially when typing in an internet address. Also glitched Firefox. It wouldn't allow me to close the first tab I had open if I had multiple tabs open. It's not a very useful add-on anyway. Just use Google to search.

cybersearch is the one of the best additions in Firefox!!
