I like this addon

IIRC, I installed this first when it just appeared (not knowing if it was good, but to try what was planned for the next version of Firefox), and I am still using it.

Without it, I would have to press Ctrl+Shift+Tab all the time. That said, I now forget about the very useful Ctrl+Shift+Tab feature of this add-on, and use Panorama instead sometimes.

The tab should be focused when we switch with Tab button, like Alt-Tab in windows 7 with aero enabled.
thanks

If you are having getting Ctrl-Tab to work on firefox4, I fixed it by changing the following configuration to true in the about:config page:
browser.ctrlTab.previews -> true

The most useful extension for me.
Does not work in FF4 + Ubuntu 10.10
but FF3.6 + Ubuntu works fine

Seems like a cool add-on, but the show all tabs in a grid feature is NOT working in Firefox 4. It also has two different shortcuts listed for it. Shift+Ctrl+Tab AND Shift+Control+A. Which one is it? Neither are working for me. Uninstalled til you can fix it. If it works for everyone else, could be a possible conflict with one of my extensions such as TabGroups Manager maybe? Does it work for anyone? Thanks, though!

Good Job! + Let Tabs move pls Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This addon is really essential for my work with Firefox. I usually start several new tabs when I search the web for certain issues and sometimes I haven't finished yet my searching about this theme and I start to search for second thing. And after a while a lot of tabs come together and with this addon I am able to get a quick overview over all tabs, so I can much easier and faster decide which tabs I can already close.
Anyways I think there could be still some improvements. If it is possible it would be very useful to handle the single tab in the overwiev in the same manner as it is used in Win Explorer with the thumbnails. This makes it much easier to move the tab from position to another. This function is for instance needed if u want to keep a particular tab open and want to position it next to the other tab of the same issue, but it is one of the first tabs and the other one of last. In this case you have to move the through whole tab bar and scroll it through there. If u have to do this several times and u got large number of tabs (~over 100) it is quite tiring.

It would also be nice to highlight the current tab u are in if u open the overview.
What do you think about making it possible to put some tabs together and let the user mark those together to a group? E.g.So that there different colors around different groups of tabs or like that. So that user can put them together and mark them. I don't know it's just a suggestion.
Keep up the good work! Thank you!

Looks good and works fast. Doesn't show up if keys are pressed fast and immediately goes to the last used page.

Could be thinner (now it fits all screen width) and may be in two rows to look more native (in Windows) and to show more tabs. And I believe that favicon should be near to title (not mix with page screenshot).

Very usefull addon .Please make it for Crome too!!!

almost same Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This addon is noticably faster than the firefox 3.6 implementation.

However it is negative in the addon that if you press and release fast, it doesn't go to the tab, instead it shows the preview screen and stays there. Firefox 3.6 doesn't do that.

I still load use this addon even though it's now (somewhat) included by default. Personally I like ctrl-tab to go to the last tab I viewed rather than just going to the right... that's what ctrl-pgup and pgdn are for! Grid view, middle-click close, and filtering by text are all great features too.

What is different from Firefox 3.6 tab previews? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It seems that it is already included into Fire-fox 3.6. It's not needed any-more!

P.S. The only difference seems to be absence of browser.ctrlTab.mostRecentlyUsed in Firefox 3.6.
P.P.S. To enable it in Firefox 3.6 set browser.ctrlTab.previews to true.

Fantastic little add-on... Why isn't this already a part of Firefox? Nice work!

I've just migrated from Opera after too many bugs and an abhorrent memory leak. I'm glad this feature has been made available to Firefox! Many thanks.

Functionality Changed, then Obsoleted Rated 4 out of 5 stars

As gshumway said, the behavior of this add-on changed between Firefox 3.0 and 3.5 with no explanation. However, as many other users have commented on or requested, this add-on's functionality has been built-in Firefox 3.6! Currently (3.6b4), the functionality is disabled by default, so you have to enable it in about:config. Change browser.ctrlTab.previews to TRUE to enable the Control+Tab functionality, and change browser.allTabs.previews to TRUE to change the "List All Tabs" button to show an "All Tabs panel".

Great add-on! It was ahead of the core functionality, and now it's been incorporated!
