Why was cssUpdater created?
Many web developers have found out that FireBug is the way to go to tweak you css for a pixel perfect site.
But the FireBug css tool has one disadvantage, all changes are lost when you refresh your page.
This plugin helps you with that, it broadcasts all changes you make in FireBug, into the desktop application that acts like a server. Then from this application you have full control to sync your changes with the original css source files. This way your css changes made in FireBug is preserved when you refresh your site!
So next time all you need to do is to fix it in FireBug when someone says, "make that greener!", or "move that to there!".
The idea came from this excellent tool that works in IntelliJ IDE: http://code.google.com/p/css-x-fire/
