Simply doesn't work - Menu never shows up (it's a waste of time)

Broken Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have used this many times in the past, however this version seem to be broken. The shell extension for the menu never comes up and the options are disabled.

I have tried to install this add-on as well as the page validator tool from Michael Langley with FireFox 3.6.10. After the install and FireFox restarts, the validators are not working. Under tools and add-ons when clicking on these specific validators the options buttons are greyed out and when right-clicking on a page that contains css neither validation add-on is available in the right-clicked menu. Does anyone know if this is a compatibility issue or if its a bug with the developers site? Also, when installed it does say that the add-on is compatible but it's still not working.

Awesome but a few issues? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I remember using this in school and it was awesome! Im trying to use it now on my mac and its not working. Is it not Mac compatible ?

good stuff Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Works good for live internet sites,
but does not allow for validation of intranet / internal sites or sites that are not yet published.

The CSS version to validate with should be customizable. The w3c css validator has many options.

Link Only Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This is a good tool for web designers but it would be better if it was a true add-on as oppose to a link.
I personally use the HTML validator by skynet.be and that is more of what I was looking for.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.2).

Review of CSS validator 3.0.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

When this add-on is installed, just right click for CSS Validation using w3c's CSS Validation service.

Sure this feature is a part of other web development add-ons, but CSS Validator is only for CSS validation without the bloat that other add-ons have.
