Multiprocess(e10s) Rated 4 out of 5 stars

If you need multiprocess(e10s) support use AutocopySelection2Clipboard

This autocopy is the smartest Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It allows text replacing in writable fields unlike other addons - let assume I need to replace some text, by another one, that just copied into clipboard. This addon allows me to select the replaced text and replace it by copied with Ctrl-V or Paste.
Other autocopy addons copy the replacing text, overriding just copied into the clipboard that extrimely undesired.
So, the reason, that this addon doesn't autocopy text from writable fields is more then justified - this is fully right behavior.

I'm having the same problem as other users. Sometimes it copies the contents of the URL bar. It makes this very difficult to use at times.

Beyond that, it doesn't copy the contents of text boxes in forms, which defeats the purpose for me. I understand why it works that way, but it should be configurable.

Response to dev:

I was able to reproduce it within an hour of using the tool. It worked at first, then I noticed it happens when I copy some text then open or switch to a new tab. Windows 7, Firefox 12.

In regards to text boxes, yes. I'd like to be able to copy from anything within a web page, but I don't want to copy from things outside of the webpage itself.

I really can't reproduce the copying of URL bar contents so far...

So you'd want a pref to copy from text boxes, but you wouldn't want to copy from the URL bar? That seems a bit complicated.

Seems to work Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I installed this on a fresh install of FF 12.0, which was installed to a fresh install of Win7.

When I select text in the upper right search-textbox, the selected text is copied to the clipboard...which is incredibly counterproductive. This does NOT happen if I simply click on the textbox and FF auto selects its contents. It DOES occur when I use the cursor to manually select the text in the upper right search-textbox.

Another person posted about this, and the developer said he could not reproduce the problem. Hopefully, this explains the problem.................

Simple and excelent for its purpose. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Pros: Does autocopy better than "Configurations Mania" and "Autocopy" extensions. Small size.

Cons: When trying to copy to Searchbar, content of Searchbar is copied instead. So you have to clean up Searchbar content first before copying to it. Annoying. Please fix.
