TheGov, you don't understand, it's for copying the text, not the link location.

Useful, and much lighter than CoLT.
Also, I appreciate the developer's efforts for keeping this addon updated for the latest FF Beta.

Yeah, I love the new version. Now when I have a url to open in a new tab, Firefox also switches to it immediately. It never used to do that for Copy Link Text even though that was my Firefox setting. Cool.

The best ever thing! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was going to say "best add-on ever!" But someone already put, "The best ever thing!", so I don't want to copy them. So I'll put:

"Great!", "wonderful" extension! Please keep it updated!

Pros:
A) Very light and useful.
B) Someone said, "The best ever thing!" on the message board.

Cons:
A) No background music on the firefox ad-ons page... the who would be cool.
B) Not automatically included feature of FFx.

Not working Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Doesn't seem to work at all as it should be. I'm using FF 2.0.0.4
1) When I R-click a link I get a R-click context menu (normally I guess with this particular extension that shouldn't be the case when R-clicking a link)
2) The option to copy the link to quicknote is present in the R-click menu (but that option is also present without this extension)
3) If I don't choose the option in the R-click menu to copy the link to quicknote; and I just open quicknote or a notepad and choose "paste" from the new R-click menu, it doesn't paste the link at all but something else I put on the clipboard the laste time I used "copy".

Am I missing something ?

Sorry

Sorry, but I have no idea why it is not working. It is working fine for me. I am guessing it is a conflict with Quicknote or some other extension, but this hasn't come up before.

Works as advertised but there are better alternatives Rated 2 out of 5 stars

1) This is a nice little addon which can copy text from link via context menu. However there is another addon called CoLT - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1812 - which can do more and allow full customization.
2) CoLT has "Copy Link Text" (that this addon has), and "Copy Link Text and Location". Also you can customize how it is copied - copied as HTML, BBCode, Wikipedia style, plain text, or even a custom format which you specify.
3) Overall this addon is nice, but CoLT is much nicer. I recommend CoLT over this one.

Needs a *little* work Rated 4 out of 5 stars

A simple, handy hack. Works as advertised. Need to capitalize that "l" in the menu, though -- looks ugly.
