Not working with Firefox 15.0 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Hi I just upgraded my Firefox to 15.0 and the cookie manager add-on is enable to edit any cookie since then. It shows all the cookies as before but the text-boxes are all greyed-out and won't let the user edit anything. Please have a look.

Giving bad rating because it's not working on unsupporting version of Firefox...
Latest FF version is 14 right now, v15 is still in beta.

In reply to your comment - well Mozilla add-on site actually offers your add-on as supported for Firefox 15 beta [1]. Nothing says anywhere that it is un-supported. You have made an excellent add-on which worked brilliantly all the way up to Firefox 14. The 3 star rating, which was somewhat forced on me as Mozilla wouldn't allow me to leave a message here without rating, is due to the fact that the add-on doesn't work with the latest Firefox. I understand that this is not a place to report bugs. Therefore, if you'd let me know the link to the right place, I would be happy to file a bug report and co-operate if necessary.

And that's besides the point, that this is review section, not support seeking section.

[EDIT]
You are correct about AMO allows install it on unsupported FF versions...must be a bug on the website.

The addon support section is located on right side of the addon's page, there is a link to website and email to contact support.

Perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I always lost settings from charts and logon information. With this add-on I just set the expiration date of those cookies to the remote future and nothing gets lost anymore.

Thank you very much for this helpful add-on!

Easy, simple, it works Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Allows me to easily click a button and delete cookies, so I can continue developing without having to troll through menus.
Thanks! :)

Works Great Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Worked perfectly for the time that I used it with latest firefox, however after switching to nightly I cannot seem to edit any cookies, the Save and Save As buttons are grey and I cannot edit any of the fields.

Yes, it supports only to FF v14

extremely MUST HAVE Rated 5 out of 5 stars

thank you for keeping this alive between firefox "major" versions

it would be nice to export a set of cookies for a domain

xxhd.domain.com
www.domain.com
member.domain

to later import it, or "programmatically" import it with greasemonkey/scriptish

for those sites where remember basic auth is not sufficient

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).

You can use search feature together with selecting needed cookies, then export selected.

Helpful. Well done. And, please...? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Feature request: automatically, silently import cookie txt file backups on browser launch.

Extra please with sugar and so forth. :)

That is something this extension never meant to do and probably never will, sorry.
However, a restartless extensions just for that purpose could be done in 10 minutes ;)

[UPDATE]
Here is restartless, 2kb, 30minutes worth of coding addon:

Useful Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Useful but be careful not to use Cookies Manager+ to delete all your cookies - it's extremely slow (100% CPU for several minutes before I gave up) - whereas Firefox's built-in function is instant.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Can't reproduce it. Just deleted over 3000 cookies in an instance with maybe 10% cpu usage.
Perhaps you have another addon that interfere?

FIX
Is there a way to work out what page a cookie was set on, like in a log or something?

FIX

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).

FF 8.0.1 is for Mac only. I don't use Mac and can't test it on it. Otherwise it works fine on FF 3 through 11 nightly

Superb! Love it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Extremely helpful! Gives you fine tuned control over cookies, and you can do some pretty cool stuff too! Thanks!

- I love how you can literally edit every aspect of a cookie.
- Very user friendly and intuitive
- Easy to batch manage cookies.

Great Cookie Addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works great. When Developing web applications this allows me to test and see cookies, and test hack attempts on my scripts.

Seems to be working, but I am missing a option to restore important cookies from a textfile on startup.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).

No such function was intended or planned. It's more appropriate for another extension.

Fairly good, does what I need it to (in this case, stopping YouTube's "keep the player widescreen dammit!" cookie from auto-expiring at session end, I don't know why they did that). And since it seems to be the only cookie editor that works in FF versions later than 3.6, I'd recommend it.

No option to un-block Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Would be a good app if there was an option to unblock a cookie after you've blocked it. However, you can't even see the cookies you have blocked with it. Poor design.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).

Cookies block is done by browser itself, not this extension. CM+ only gives an easy to use way of blocking a cookie. In addition you can't see blocked cookies, because they no longer exist, when they blocked, they automatically deleted (in fact CM+ only has "Delete and Block" option, so not seeing the cookie afterwards I thought was a no-brainer). That's the way browser is designed and nothing I can do about - the only way block a cookie is to delete it. To unblock you'll need go to built-in browser's "Exceptions" window, which also for easy access available through Tools menu in CM+ window.

If you have suggestions how to improve the extension, feel free submit it to provided email or post on support website.

Does it work in FF 6.0? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Edit: I have to edit this review cuz of carelessly reading :D
Sorry to V@no the Developer. It's a really good extension and if possible I'd rate this 5 stars.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).

First of all, this is a review section for extensions, not support seeking section.
Secondly, how to use this extension is explained in the description.

What happens is that I delete a particular cookie and it appears again very soon afterwards when I reuse my Firefox. Therefore, you should allow a previously deleted cookie to be deleted permanently after it has been deleted once. A kind of option saying "delete permanently". Ex: yadroo.ru.etc, m.webtrends.com.etc, and more.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).

That feature is available since 1.2
Either right click on a selected cookie and chose "Delete and block" or press SHIFT + DELETE

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It's a great idea, but not being able to lock cookies so that they modifications aren't instantly destroyed when you go back to a webpage is required.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).

No such feature was implemented nor even considered, it's not belong in this extension anyhow..
