Muy útil Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Es sencilla, muy similara al comportamiento de Internet Explorer
It is very simple, It works like Internet Explorer

Really liked this Rated 3 out of 5 stars

But after using it for 6 months it's gettign really annoying having to re-add everything every update. More annoying, is that I ALREADY have these engines bookmarked and working when I type into Firefox's address bar.

For example I'll type "MAL" to search myanimelist, but this add-on uses the Mini-tooolbar which I guess uses a different set of engines because it ignores the 7 engines I have shortcuted to the Address bar. I hate that mini-search bar because it's a waste of space when the address bar does the exact same things, so I wish this add-on would read the Engines from the address bar as well since apparently every Firefox update deletes the mini-search bar custom data or something while my address bar shortcuts always work.

Basically, to specific what I mean is, when you add shortcuts to the ADDRESS BAR, it "Saves" them as "Bookmarks" so no matter what an update does, Firefox recognizes them. This add-on seems to save as a config somewhere that gets overwritten every time Firefox updates. Using the bookmark system would be much better.

This user has a previous review of this add-on.

This Add-on doesn't actually have any search engine configuration at all, it's just using the search engines that are available in Firefox's search box. If your engines are being removed with every update, I suggest you seek help from the Firefox Support site or forums at MozillaZine, that doesn't sound like something that should be happening.

Very good with one glitch when updating FF. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very nice extension but every time FF updates to new version all custom engines are gone and all is left is firefox default engines. Can this be solved?
Thanks

This is exactly how Firefox should have worked without the need of addons.

Simple and to the Point Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I had tried several add-ons that attempted context menu searches (or through other fancy means) and all failed miserably.

Thankfully I stumbled upon this add-on. The idea is pretty simple but very powerful.

I use it with Menu Editor add-on and it stays on top of my context menu.

I would have created it if I knew how to code. Kudos to the developer. Simple and smooth execution.
10/10.

Useful. Only four stars because 'hidden' options are annoying. Please make them easily accessible.

An idea: Why can't we configure keyboard shortcuts for auto searching?
ex: alt+y = youtube, alt+i = imdb etc
select text, do shortcut and new tab is open!

Good but not excellent Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great add-on but could you make some options to change button functions, for example I used Opera many years and used Ctrl+click to open new tab on background in the same window. Here I must use not native combinations like middle button click that doesn't open tabs at the background.

Should be standard Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Shouldn't even be an addon, should be built in. Can't see running Firefox without it.

Love the addon, used it for years, I don't suppose you could add a hidden preference to disable this new 'Added functionality so that you can click on the menu to search using the default engine',

I always click the menu to bring it up, even though I know you don't really need to, and now I'm accidently searching google everytime when I want to search using another search engine on the list...

Disable click to search in context menu Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been using this addon for a long time and it's immensely helpful. However with the latest update, there are quite a few newly added features that are counterproductive.

PLEASE remove the "click to search in context menu" feature or at least give us an option to disable it. Looking at the other reviews I can see that other users are frustrated with this newly implemented feature and rather not have it, and I'm assuming it's because we are used to clicking on the context menu to bring out the list of search engines.

I have submitted an update with a hidden preference to disable this functionality.

Please remove the default search click Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Been using this for years and it's brilliant, but i can't stand the new version automatically performing the default search when you click to open the search menu. Please change it back or give us the option or workaround - thanks.
