I absolutely loved this feature, because I have alot of bookmarks, but alas, not available in version 3 of Firefox! I'm with other reviewers - nothing else exists. PLEASE help us and update this extension!

PLEASE!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm considering going back to Firefox 2 just so I can use this. How a feature like this isn't built into firefox I have no idea and how is it there are not several people doing and extension like this? I would gladly update it or work on it if I only had a clue about programing. Please, someone help us out!

I agree! Nothing else exists!! If this extension dies, I hope someone will take up where they left off.

FF3 Update Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Please update this extension. FF has NOTHING else like it since bookmarks were revamped. Some of us need this one of a kind extension to go on browsing our bookmarks without having to scroll downward for upwards of a minute.

ff3 update please

I'm also holding out switching to FF3 until this extension is compatible with it. Having to scroll up and down a single column of bookmarks is really annoying. I would be extremely grateful to anyone who can find a fix.

FF3 Compatability Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Seriously... we need somebody to make this work for FF3. It's the main reason I haven't upgraded yet. I can't believe that this is not a built in feature of the new browser.

You can't just change the max version in the install manifest, because "If your extension accesses bookmark or history data in any way, it will need substantial work to be compatible with Firefox 3. The old APIs for accessing this information have been replaced by the new Places architecture. See the Places migration guide for details..."

Unfortunately, I've lost hope that this will be updated, because the bugs in the 2.0 version still haven't been fixed since 2006. However, DigDug has recently updated his other add-ons (e.g. Pageinfo 5/5/08)

Come on Wes, we know you're there! Please fix this for FF3!

cannot test.. i use FF3!
This is a "MUST HAVE" feature in my opinion.... my looooong list of bookmarks is absolutly un-usable with FF3 (i used Maxthon before FF3, and this is a native feature of Maxthon). I hope this very important add-on can be ported very soon over FF3!!!! Please ....

This is the only add-on I REALLY miss. In fact, I'm holding off upgrading to FF3 on my other machines until this or similar multi-column bookmark add-on is available! HELP!!!

Need FF3-compatible version! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Trying to much v3.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm trying to modify the "install.rdf" to match version 3.0 but didn't work.
Someone can do this?

FYI: I modified the "install.rdf" to match versions higher than 2.0.* but didn't help to run under 3.0 as well. Unfortunately I'm not a programmer and I didn't write the original code.

Doesn't work on Firefox 3 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Unfortunately,it doesn't work on Firefox 3.

Works great, but... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Very convenient way of visually tracking the bookmarks' tree for websites actively opened in the browser. But after I updated to the newer version of Firefox ( and imported back in my usual set of add-ons/extensions, the Column Bookmarks stopped working. and I'm back to using the vertically-arranged row of bookmarking. Don't give up on us, keep debugging it, keep updating it for comparable use for newer versions; you have a very handy add-on here! If it didn't stop working I'd give it the five stars!

The exact extension I was looking for. Works perfectly as of

Doesn't work. Displays the first chunk of bookmarks in columns but there is no way to scroll down any further.

does it work? Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Installed it and nothing happens. The long single columns are still there. I don\'t know how all the others got it to work....oh well, I guess its back to maxthon...

Nice! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Exactly what I want. Someone please port it to Linux!! :)
