I've wanted this functionality for ages, but just not thought of searching for it. Thank you for your great work - the extension works perfectly! :)
I love this extension, I use it all the time. Here are two features that I would love to see added in the future:
1. Copy Selected Links: the ability to highlight a box of copy, then right-click and copy all the URL's of the links in the selected copy.
2. Copy Selected Anchortext: the ability to highlight a box of copy, then right-click and copy all the Anchortext's of the links in the selected copy.
Two powerful suggestions:
1) Add (user-selectable) kbd shortcut keys.
This helps to avoid digging into right-click menus repeatedly, when you have MANY URLs to copy...
2) Add an option to copy & run the page/link URL through the "goo.gl" URL shortener.
Simple in use, and works as promised. I end up forgetting it's actually this add on that provides me these extra context options, it's so non-intrusive.
Wonderful extension that I miss dearly. Are we any closer to an update for fx4, preferably 4.0b8 and up?
Would be a great add-on probably, but i can't get it to show *all* context menu items on OSX 10.6.4, FF 3.6.10 us-en: only the "pagetitle" menu item is displayed :-( Firefox is a clean install and Colt the only extension so far. Neither for admin account nor user account...
Broken in Firefox 4.0 Beta 3+
Hope you will fix it.
I'm aware of the problem, and am working on a fix.
Great addon especially using the rich text link with OneNote.
Wish there was a way to have a single default menu item or keyboard shortcut. Right now you need to navigate to sub menu item to save.
My current workaround is Right click + O + Enter + Enter to copy the link title and link in rich text format.
If you remove all but one of the custom formats from the "Copy Both" custom format list, the sub-menu will turn into a top-level menu item; a hidden feature! :-)
You can tell that I love an extension when I start hacking on it, which I've done to great effect on CoLT. It's been great for writing blog posts, and posting to my wiki or to Twitter. Definitely one of the extensions that I miss most when I'm using Chrome on my netbook.
This doesn't have all the features of CoLT, but it's close.
My most-used extension.
But... is anything like this available for Chrome?
Great add-on and amazing support from the developer. I wanted this add-on to to produce rich text HTML links and the developer was eager to assist me with defining the custom format.
If that's what you're after, "Open the CoLT options dialog, and add a new custom format. Give it a name of something like 'Rich Text' or whatever you want, and make sure to check the 'Use Rich Text HTML Link Format' box."
i usage CoLT sooo happy, because i can define:
Moin1.7link [%U %T]
so so ,write wiki ,is quick and easy!
Super useful add-on that saves me time at work. Thank you!
A more than worthy successor to CopyURL+ - lots of functionality, customisable, easy to use!
Good Add-On .. Just that it should have more options and preferences like setting up a shortcut key, to copy the link and text of a hyperlink when the cursor is over. Because when you have to click into the context menu and select your options, which is a waste of time. Keyboard Shortcuts are quicker and it should be selected from first If you want to cope the link location or text. It saves alot of time if you can add these options and it will become a better add-on. :)
Works well exempt to copy the current page not selecting a link - so I just ignore the menu as it works when on a link
My only question is why isn't this function in Firefox natively?
Following 3.5 was unable to Drag a Tab as Rich Text HTML into Thunderbird.
Then I found CoLT and as default I could get the Html code which is great for Blog Comments
Then I found Options Add and an option for Rich text Html which I called HTML for Email and a right click and I have a better option than the old tab drag.
Thank You and I would suggest add HTML for Email into your defult
2.4.4 is corrupted, please fix it
Please add support for Firefox 3.5! http://pic.im/5bv
I've been using this extension for the past few years. And find it to be very, very helpful. I'd also like to request support for firefox 3.5.
