for v31.8 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Works well in Palemoon/FF27(preAustralis) and FF47.
Besides the color set it should include tab name replace as feature. Then it will reach the perfection ;)
The colored tabs will loose their color between sessions Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I have installed it couple of times, but uninstalled later on when I found the colors are gone between sessions. I think I might have too many windows and hundreds of tabs. If there's only one window, there's no problem at all. I even reinstall a brand new firefox to test the problem, but unfortunately, the result is still the same.
Another annoying issue is the update notice tabs are filled on every windows. That's really annoying!
Feature request: Multiple Tab Hanlder compatibility Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I like your addon, and it's very good it's e10s compatible!
However, there's one feature I would very much like to have — Multiple Tab Handler (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/multiple-tab-handler/ ) compatibility. Personally, I prefer not to have all tabs colored but only the ones I need, e.g. the tabs I've already read.
I would like to be able to choose multiple tabs and highlight them with the same color using a keyboard shortcut or a ColourfulTabs context menu.
As of now, when several tabs are selected with Multiple Tab Handler, there is no ColourfulTabs context menu, and when I use the keyboard shortcut, only the current tab is colored, not all selected tabs.
ONE thing lacking Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I LOVE and depend on ColorfulTabs, BUT - I keep LOSING my tab colors with new versions of Thunderbird or Earlybird! I gave up on Earlybird, thinking it was primarily at fault and then ran into the same problem with the latest update of Thunderbird 54.0b1
So the ONE think I would like to see is "save/restore configuration"
One other issue is that the "additional colors" do NOT appear to apply AS they are displayed. Is Thunderbird somehow not amenable to the expanded color attributes??
Beautiful!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Love this addon SO MUCH!!
It not only adds beauty to the browser, but I can track tabs via color and not get lost in a sea of tabs - well, it's more difficult to. :)
Thank you dev, for catching up and keeping up w/ff updates!
Really like this add-on, but it quit working when it updated to 31.1.3 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I rolled back to 31.1.2 and it works again. I've tried the latest updates, through 31.1.6, but I have to keep going back to 31.1.2

"ColorfulTabs" - Einfach Bombe! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Nutze dieses Ad-on schon eine längere Zeit.
Bin aber noch weiterhin, wie auch den ersten Tag
von "ColorfulTabs" völlig begeistert !!!
Not all options work, documentation incomplete - pretty tabs though! Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It's great to be able to color tabs so finally I can tell which one is active. However I'm having trouble setting preferences in Firefox 53.0.2 on Windows 10. I don't see advanced preferences where I can set min and max color intensity. I don't understand how to set the colors for the default palette. And I don't see how to select coloring schemes. So overall I appreciate one Colourful Tabs but wish it could do more! Or perhaps the documentation is incomplete? Maybe developer hasn't kept add-on up to date? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (31.1.6).
Well-made addon Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Well-made and pleasing color selection for the tabs, my only personal alert, would be even better if you could have a built-in mixer for color selection :)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (31.1.6).
I installed ColorfulTabs two months ago, and really like it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This add-on did what I expected and a bit more.
It did make my browser tabs more colorful.
I especially like the features of "mini-mode" and being able to re-color a Tab or change all the Tab colors entirely and also allowing me to make my tabs look just how I want them to look .
This is a very useful add-on for me and is easy to use and understand.
I plan on keeping this add-on both my PC's indefinitely.
I would recommend this add-on if you have problems distinguishing what tab is open or not in, or if you just like more color in your Firefox.
This add-on allows you to personalize Firefox just that much more.
It also works well with the add-on "Personas Plus" to enhance your Firefox with even more color.
I would say that ColorfulTabs is kind of a little more color-therapy for those of us who just can't live without color!
Thanks to those that created this extension!
No colors on tabs when using offical firefox themes in version 53.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
As you can see the underline color is there for whatever tab is active but the color on tab is missing

nice !This review is for a previous version of the add-on (31.1.4).
Looks ugly Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Colors are nice, but this addon changes the appearance of the tab bar. It looks ugly. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (31.1.4).
Needs one simple change to be great Rated 4 out of 5 stars
EDIT: Discovered a bug! I recently installed Tree Style Tab 0.19.2017031101 by Piro (piro_or), which is supposed to work fine with ColorfulTabs, but the Tab_Stack now gets stuck ON even if you have it disabled. It doesn't matter where you set Tree Style Tab to (left, right, top, or bottom) it always shows up at the top (and above the tabs if set to top).
Because this bug didn't happen straight away (it was after a restart of Firefox or two), I thought maybe it was just an error or something and tried reinstalling both addons. When one or the other was installed, nothing happened, but having both caused the bug. I noticed ColorfulTabs would never install clean (it always remembered my settings), so I went into about:config to look around and, on a whim, set 'extensions.treestyletab.compatibility.ColorfulTabs' to false. This fixed the bug!! I don't know how or why, or if it will stick/cause other issues, but it got rid of the stuck Tab-Stack.
To be clear, this is a great addon and I really like it. But, for the love of god give us an option to turn off the godawful gloss on the top of the tabs!!! You can turn it off already for the 'currently selected tab', so it should be easy to offer an option to turn it off completely. I ask this because it is horribly gaudy/a huge eyesore with dark colors and, as someone with photophobia, the bright pastels this addon starts with are a huge no.
Also, as far as I can tell, it's impossible to change the quick color options that appear in the tab context menu.
Not working Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This add-on is not working with Classic Theme Restorer any more. It stopped working about 10 days ago. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (31.1.3).
Default color missing Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I need to color only few domains and I like to let other tabs with a default color.
This addon colors all tabs.
NOT Multi-Process Compatible Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Despite being marked as multi-process compatible as of v31.1.3, the domain-based coloring of tabs feature is still entirely broken with multi-process enabled.
This add-on is still excellent for single-process users, but it's disingenuous to claim multi-process compatibility when key features are broken.
Great add-on, install page shows dodgy ads Rated 1 out of 5 stars
The extension does what it says. However, upon installation it opened up a landing page with ads for sexual services. Not acceptable! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (31.1.2).
Firefox deactivate this addon Rated 4 out of 5 stars
