Thanks! This is really useful. It should integrated into the Developer Tools to improve the accessibility in the world wide web.

Very handy! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

As a web-designer and -programmer, this tool is very useful, to ensure that even colorblind people can properly use my websites.

I hope you are going to expand the extensions, maybe with some sliders to define your own degree of colorblindness (intensity/visibility of the colorfilter).
I think we need an optional dedicated toolbar button, dedicated to switch between the different modes as well!

Unfortunately, not all is good:
This breaks the "Responsive Design Button" in the webconsole (CRTL+Shift+K). While I can still enter the responsive design through tools, it is no longer possible through the console.
Also, colorblindness remains active for the tab, even when leaving responsive mode, website, or whatever.

Instructions are incomplete/inaccurate. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The instructions currently say "To use it, open the adaptive design mode with the Web Developer menu."

This is not quite accurate. It should read, "To use it, go to 'Tools/Web Developer/**Responsive** Design View' and then select a filter."

Once I found how to enable it, it worked great and is *exactly* what I wanted. But I took off one star for incomplete/inaccurate instructions that caused me to nearly give up and uninstall the plugin.

You're right, thanks for your feedback. I've changed the text.

Even if you are not sure if the colors are correct displayed it gives me a good impression on issues one may run into when picking the wrong colors.
It also gives me to opportunity to test some screen sizes for i.e. mobile applications.
Screenshots taken from the current selected filter remain in the saved screenshot and can be used during discussions to show the effect.

Future improvements:
- Make the black surrounding a bit smaller so we can have more "Screen"
- Add a possibility to scroll the screen sideways. My mouse allows me to scroll up and down but not left and right. It would be great to have scroll-bars

this is pretty sweet; works like a charm, no restart! none of the other colorblind simulators even worked after restart.

How to use it? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I am probably missing something because I can't find screenshoted menu anywhere. What other addon I am supposed to have or where do I enable it?

Edit: Thanks for a quick reply. Now when I can find it it looks pretty good :-).

Well, you're right that it's not easily discoverable by itself, and it lacks an explanation in the addon description.
To enable it, just open the responsive design mode that you can find in the Web developer sub-menu.
