Used a bit, it doesn't support the modern firefox feature -- multi-process usage to effectively distribute the load.
Doesn't work, only adds a blank "Reference" tab
It's unavailable for Firefox v22.214.171.12443
I had a tab in Firebug labelled 'Reference' that did nothing. I had to go through all my extensions, disabling them to find what it was and it was this. It has not worked for years and now I remember, it was a 1-star when it did. They still offer an even more outdated version on their website. For a far better reference, right click an element and select 'Search Google (or something better) for...'
This whole site is riddled with add-ons that stopped working years ago. Coming here is getting to be a waste of time.
The add-on does not work in Firefox 13 / Mac 10.7. Very sad: There is no support about this in the Codeburner forums.
This WAS a handy extension but currently it's a kind of zen (does nothing)
With newer version of Firefox and Firebug, there's nothing in the Reference panel.
Doesn't work on Firefox 6 w/Firebug - just beeps when you type anything into search box
Half-baked reference. You'd still have to go to sitepoint to get full syntax.
Completely useless waste of time. It's just an excuse to include as many links and references to their site as possible in order to gather more free traffic for their stupid ad-ridden website. Go away and leave my Open Source browser alone you jerks.
An amazing tool!
Great addon, please update to 3.6, Thx
Nice tool except that it automatically shows up for every page even though autorun is not checked. :-(
Am I missing a setting or something?
Thank you, just wish we could somehow also get W3C references
Version 1.2 of this tool, which is compatible with Firefox 3.5, has been set free from the sandbox. Enjoy!
Please update support to FF 3.5
Guys, we uploaded an update to CodeBurner that is compatible with FF 3.5 a couple of weeks ago, but it's still sitting in the sandbox. You can grab it if you log in to this site ... otherwise we're at the mercy of when the Mozilla add-ons team promote the updated version to be publically available. You can also grab the updated version from http://tools.sitepoint.com/codeburner.
Where's the 3.5 support?!
Nice add-on, please update to ff 3.5 version.
It doesn't work for firefox 3.5 :(
Seems i can't use it.
You may not use this work for commercial purposes.
I think this is a great extension!
The one thing is that the links for more information or references don't seem to work for me. Is it because I am behind a firewall? I am able to go to the reference.sitepoint.com directly but through clicking on the links. When I click on a link nothing happens.
Contrary to what others have stated, the CC/A/NC license does restrict use in a commercial environment. "Reproduce" in the CC legal code means to make a copy of it - which is what you're doing when you install it. If I am making a copy of it to use commercially, I am violating the agreement, which is what 90% of web developers would use it for.
Sadly, I am one of those that cannot use it.
Exelente! Es de gran ayuda. Ahora Firebug es más potente.
