this addon does NOT clip images. it then serves no useful purpose since you can easily copy/paste the web page into any OneNote page. I'm looking for a "clipper" only because the copy/paste doesn't bring in the images. This addon is another total waste of time.
It's the same result as mark, copy & paste into OneNote, it loses all formatting and the result looks nothing like what the browser shows. Not sure what this is good for, one can simply copy&paste or use OneNote's own clipper. Was searching for something that can actually and simply clip a website to OneNote 1:1 without the need to advanced screenshot utilities but apparently that'll be the only option...
I've used this in the past and it worked fine. I just did a clean install of Win7 and Clip to Onenote does not work anymore! When I select any of the clip options from the menu, I get a "working" message, but when I go into OneNote's Unfiled Notes, there's nothing new there. :(
Thanks, it's working now, but only "Clip to OneNote This Page". For the other menu choices, I get the message: Syncing, with the extension name underneath.
When I use the extension, it no longer gives me a choice of where to save (as it used to do and the option I've set in OneNote). It now sends the clip directly to a side note. Not a big deal, but annoying.
As to IE, I've no idea since I never use it.
What do you mean by "working" message? Is it the one with a progress bar? If so it is onenote dialogue box. It has nothing to do with this add-on. You have to check your onenote settings.
Also is your Microsoft's official IE add-on working?
send only plain text to onenote 2010, even with the option box checked. No format, no link, no images. any interact with noscript addon or ghostery or ... ?

Can you please share a URL with which you tested this extensions? I have both noscript and ghostery installed, I found no issues.
it could not find Onenote.exe. I had to find it and put it in.
Work with the latest OneNote 2013
Legal pelo seu complemento. Funciona muito bem.
Deu um trabalhinho para achar o link do "OnNote.exe".

I prefer to use OneNote over Evernote, unfortunately OneNote doesn't come with clipper for any other browser except IE. I was considering to use Evernote mainly because of their clipper feature but this addon brought missing piece of OneNote.
I'd like to thanks the developer from my heart.
There is a newer version of this addon available which required to run a listener process. which isn't bad but this one doesn't required something additional thing. hope this addon keep working with further versions. It would be great if there a this kinda Legacy version available on chrome also.keep up the awesome work.
Works just like the old addon.
The errors on startup are annoying though.
But you can get rid of them without losing any functionality (for (4.0rev657):
Just delete lines 40 and 43-51 in the file \resources\clip-to-onenote-legacy-edition\lib\main.js in the xpi, and repack it and drag the resulting xpi into the browser window.
Thanks a lot for spotting this. I have released a new version to fix this.
ah,I have found it was not compatible with Menu Editor(another extension),but Menu Editor does not update.... :(
I'm pleased that you made this legacy version available, my only gripe is that you seem to have done away with the toolbar icon which I rather liked. Well, at least the functionality is back with the context menu. Thank you.
Add-on sdk doesn't allow much of flexibility when it comes to tool bar icons. But I am still watching that space and will update the add-on as soon as the sdk is available.
