I discovered a bug in the latest update -- this addon breaks the pdf.js addon. I can no longer 'download' the opened pdfs, nothing happens on clicking that button.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1-signed).

Thank you for the bug report and for the generous rating :) The bug has been fixed and you should receive the update soon.

Please add fetch (http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=fetch&sektion=1) or better custom command with replacements like $URL, $COOKIES. wget is common for linux only.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1-signed).

I'm not familiar with fetch, if it supports specifying request headers and cookies then please let me know where I can find more info. Curl is already available though (it's the default in the latest version).

Edit: fetch doesn't allow specifying http request headers so it won't work. Allowing custom commands will add complexity to the UI and is really an overkill. If there's any other commandline tool that can be used, let me and and I'll add support for it.

This is one of the most useful extensions I've used. I absolutely love it.

Suggestion... Enable wget link for the right-click menu on images also.

Thanks for this extension!

Thank you for the rating. I'll implement your suggestion in the next update. Not sure when that's coming, but no less than two weeks.

this is sick addon, highly recommended! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

hi! addon is sick.

the only disadvantage I've found is:

when you need to get something from the page where is POST method instead of GET wget string doesn't include POST data.

Would be nice if you could add additional --post-data='string' from the query parameters.

Thanks a lot for your work, it's awesome other than this :)

There is also a bug with quoting of ' inside the Cookie-data and possibly somewhere else, please fix it - thanks.

Also, any chance on menu of copying wget link for current active download ?

Thank you for your feedback. I like all your suggestions. About the quote bug, can you email me an example and whether you're running the command on Windows or Linux.

Hi,
I am impressed this add-on. Nice concept and for me is very useful. Thanks.
BTW, I would like to add some my own parameters. Unfortunately I can not get to ‘about:config’. Where can I find it in Firefox 12.0 (WIN7)?
Once again many thanks for this add-on.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.1-signed).

Thank you for the rating. You just need to type "about:config" in the address bar.

Great work and quickly response! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's a great tool in spite of a minor bug in it.
<br>It should use double quote instead of single quote in enclosing output file name and the source address. <br><br>Sample:<br> <br>now it is:<br>wget --header="Host: www.python.org" --header="User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0" --header="Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8" --header="Accept-Language: en-us,en;q=0.5" --header="Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate" --header="DNT: 1" --header="Connection: keep-alive" --header="Referer: http://www.python.org/getit/releases/2.7.2/" 'http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.7.2/python-2.7.2.msi' -O 'python-2.7.2.msi'<br><br>it SHOULD be:<br> wget --header="Host: www.python.org" --header="User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0" --header="Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8" --header="Accept-Language: en-us,en;q=0.5" --header="Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate" --header="DNT: 1" --header="Connection: keep-alive" --header="Referer: http://www.python.org/getit/releases/2.7.2/" "http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.7.2/python-2.7.2.msi" -O "python-2.7.2.msi"

Are you using wget on Windows? This only happens on Windows because it doesn't support single quotes. I've updated the addon to allow you to specify whether you want it to use single quotes or double quotes. Find that option in about:config under cliget.use_double_quotes.

The update is being reviewed by Mozilla team and may tabke a few days until it goes live. Meanwhile, you can package the addon yourself from bitbucket repo if you don't like wating ;)

LightWeight addon @ 11 kb

Minor Bug , Pls correct it , otherwise everytime we have to do it manually

After "Connection: keep-alive" (code) , The remaining code is in single inverted comma ,
it has to be in double inverted comma

A must have! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Definitly a must have for people who often use wget on servers. Great work! Look also at my revision on www.zappodrom.deMaybe it's possible to give some options selectable in next versions like recursion or such?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.1-signed).

Thank you for your review. Here's an English translation of your post for those who don't speak German: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.zappodrom.de/allgemein/wget-fur-browser-firefox-add-on-cliget-0-5.html&ei=mDWETrjgAo2ztweHg_Av&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CBsQ7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://www.zappodrom.de/allgemein/wget-fur-browser-firefox-add-on-cliget-0-5.html%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dubuntu%26hs%3DjbD%26channel%3Dfs%26prmd%3Dimvns

I have a couple of features I want to implement soon. If by recursion you mean to download an entire directory, that's not in my todo list at the moment. But I'll think about it.
