Great addon because Dropbox crash when download from command line! Now my life is very nice because Cliget!
Thank you Ma'am. Glad to be of service.
Very useful, it even works with google drive's files, thanks a lot !
Here on addons.mozilla v220.127.116.11-signed is marked as working with Firefox 21.0+, but it should be 26+. I get annoying notifications about update that not working on FF below 26. Old addon versions should be properly assigned to proper FF versions, thats what I asking for!
Thanks for the feedback. Will verify that and have it fixed.
What a great addon Zaid, well done!
Very useful addon. But I want to request a feature. Please make aria2c support (I email the developer).
BTW this addon works well for me with wget in ubuntu.
Aria2 is supported. You can enable it from the addon preferences. Thanks for the rating :)
Thank you Zaid Abdulla, nicely done.
I use this addon with wget and curl, and both work very well.
It's very useful to download from tty, or to quickly see headers used for download.
the curl command line can be transfered to different platforms, such as other CentOS, Windows.
It's already supported aria2c. 55555 Star.
It is supported and you can enable it in the config dialog. Hope that helps.
The best and useful complement of firefox, shows info about downloads and their cookies
TOp for using with linux or win32 version of wget and curl
very nice addon
But can any one please tell me what changes i have to make to download the file every day.
i.e. how to mentain the session alive forever?
thanks in advance
Usually sessions expire mechanism happen on the server side so most probably there isn't anything you can do to prevent the command from expiring. You'll need to periodically regenerate the download command.
How do you use this thing?
This is useful if you're comfortable using the command line. Just install it and whenver you're downloading a file in Firefox, you're presented with a long command that you just copy and paste on the command line of another machine. This allows you to download files directly to a different machine even if they're protected behind a login screen (e.g. email attachments).
The only thing that I can think of that would be a plus is for it to (provide an option to) dismiss the download dialog when you click the "Copy" button.
Sounds like a good idea! Will implement that in the next update. Thanks.
I always use Firefox + Mobile Safari but safari doesn't support download so I found kinda dumb (brilliant?) way to download them later through iCloud bookmark when I got on my computer from iOS. I tried to create a batch (w/ wget) that will drag and drop loads of bookmarks into it to quickly download them all but Firefox didn't seemed to let me do it. Then I saw this addon and thought it'd 'hide' my bookmark drag/drop problem but... I wish that addon can be used in bookmark library. :/
Brilliant addon, exactly what I needed.
It would be extremely useful to also add proxy information to generated curl command for the cases FF is configured with autoproxy URL or system proxy (Windows). In this case user may not even be aware of actual proxy information as it is computed dynamically by script.
It's a must have addon for the console enthusiasts!
A must have if you're working across multiple machines.
I work a lot with linux and this expansion is a very necessary
Fantastic addon however it does not work with rapidgator.net free downloads
Thanks yodawg. Can you please email me an example link so I can test it. I'll look into this before the next update.
great job zaid , this is useful extension .
