About this Add-on
With the searchbar, however, I often find myself pasting parts of a query while wanting to retain the rest, so for this, I kept the ctrl key necessary. Firefox 1.5.x does not have the built in functionality necessary for it to go automatically, but it will clear and paste.
Props go out to the authors of Paste and Go, Konquefox, and Autocopy for giving me this idea.
PS. Autocopy is very useful on systems that don't have a selection buffer.
PSS. I have a friend on a Mac who has set his middle button to perform a global operation. If you are in a similar situation, the urlbar functionality will work if you hold the command button. If the command+middle click is set for a global operation, the functionality of this extension at this point int time will be minimal.
