If the "the number of active channels" number is bigger like the active channels factual number in that case the launch button is not shown.

(Sorry the occurrent circuitous composition. I am not English.)

But the extension is very useful. Thank you. :)

GREAT plugin and could become top downloader

----- 'if the author allow it to become one'

Everything fine but if couple of bugs are fixed fast.

I could give less ratings because of bugs but I want to encourage the author.

Thanks for your review

We would happy to work w/ you to fix any issues you have. Just send an email to cleeki@gmail.com, and we can follow up from there.

can not disable or uninstall it Rated 2 out of 5 stars

can not disable it after i restart Firefox, and i can not uninstall it completely either, damn it!

launch button Rated 5 out of 5 stars

How can I disable the launch button? This is so annoying, I has disabled and re-enabled everything for trying removing the launch button, but it will still appear.

Edit

Thanks
With reading and studying all the functions is the problem solved!
I have discovered the preview function, that's also awesome. Only a nice improvement could be, to put some new folders for better organization, for the many searches. But this is surely the best I have tried from all the existing accelerators. It's the lack of promotion why this add is less in use, but that problem have more add on developers.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.5).

Thanks for your feedback

In order to disable the launch button: From Firefox menu choose "Tools/Add-ons", and locate the entrance for "Cleeki - Firefox Accelerators". Click on the "options" button. In the opened dialog, under the "Launch" tab, check the option "Directly display active channels". This will equivalently disable the launch button. Instead, the active channels will appear. If you also don't want the active channels to show, under the same "Launch" tab you can set a higher value (e.g. 10000ms) for activation delay. This will functionally disable the active channels too.

If the above doesn't resolve your problem, please write to cleeki@gmail.com and we will follow up w/ you.

The Perfect Timesaver Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on is really great for bloggers and researchers such as me, I highly reccommend it!

This is a really great add-on, but the UI is quite plain. A dark or black theme would be nice to go with my Firefox theme and the Cleeki icon is really quite ugly. Compare it to the IE8 accelerator icon and set that as the standard. Also, I dont know much about programming, but the SmarterFox add-on seems to function much more smoothly than Cleeki. The icons load A LOT faster and I prefer the way it opens the icon menu above the highlighted text.

Also, There is a bug. Try using Cleeki while viewing a .txt document in firefox. All you see is HTML. Here is an example:
http://ewtn.com/library/HOMELIBR/SPANINQ.TXT

Appart from that this add-on is a must have. It saves heaps of time. It's just a little un-attractive, that's all.

Excellent but bad ui Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent, very useful but ugly UI and usability.
Horizontal menu and after vertical menu !?§ Colors !
Should a simple vertical menu ala IE8 Accelerators with a clean layout.

Except this, it's a very very good add-on

Great add-on!!! It saves a lot of time.

However, when I tried to backup all my setting, I can't find the preference file. Can you please tell me where it is?

Thanks a lot

Same problem with NoScript+have to allow it. Besides I found useless to see Google search results in a small window if when I click on it a new tab opens. It would be logical that loads on the same small window isnt it?

Reply to Gerard

Thanks for providing your review on Cleeki's add-on. Cleeki works well with NoScript itself. That said, it is possible that some third party add-on might import additional interference as we figured out with the kind help from another user. You may send an email to contact@cleeki.com providing more details and we would be more than happy to work with you to resolve your problem.

Regarding search results opening in a new tab: the default operation behaviors are based on the statistical analysis on user data to fit the custom of most users. We understand and respect that each user is unique and has his/her own preference. Your suggestion will be considered in our future upgrade. In the meantime, Cleeki provides ample freedom and you can customize it quite a lot. For an instance, in order to meet your requirement you can directly use Google search in the preview URL (http://www.google.com/search?&q=[kw]), and assign a large enough preview window size (e.g., 640x480).

Conflict with NoScript Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I really like the concept. However, I get "Clear Click"warnings from NoScript when attempting to link to any search choices within Cleeki's window. I' sure it's a matter of "redirection". I really hope this can be resolved, because the potential value of this extension is great.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.2).

Not a conflict w/ NoScript

Hi Jack: as we discussed and explored offline, this is not a conflict with NoScript. Instead, a third add-on imports the interference, and the interference can be avoided by corresponding setting in NoScript.

The add on is great, however it doesn't support multiline selection: For example:

3110 Santa Monica Blvd
Santa Monica, CA 90401

Causes and error when selecting the address in google maps

Developer Response

Thanks for your review on Select-n-Go. Cleeki is designed with multiline selection considered. Nevertheless it is possible that in certain page or system it might not work as expected. As this is not a venue for bug discussion, it would be very helpful if you could send an email to cleeki@gmail.com, including your system environment (OS, Browser version, etc.) and the page that triggered the bug. We will promptly check the problem and fix any possible bug if any.
