For all those who can no longer use this addon, I found that an addon called "Selectivecookiedelete" will perform a one click cookie clearing once configured properly.

Exactly the same like written by macexperts.
Doesn't work with FF 40.0.2.
Difficult to find an email-address to give a feedback.
Thanks for the fine addon, exact what I have needs for.

Not Working in Firefox 40.0? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Rick it appears FFox 40.0 has broke your very valuable ad-on. Can you check and advise? I can't find a way to email you on here! Thanks!

Still like it Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I liked the original version - I like this one too. It's the only add-on that deletes all cookies - not just on open sites - with just a single click - very nice

Thank you for the kind review!

Works great but can't disable the unnecessary popup. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is a great cookie deleting addon. The only problem is it's not really one-click because you have to close a popup window which appears every time you clear cookies.Would be nice if that distraction was removed since it blocks keyboard and mouse input.

Works very well and easy now. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

In my case, all problems with this Addon are solved.
Thanks!

Has Potential, but needs work Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Doesn't work right. First time left click popped up an empty grey box, no text, but it did delete all the cookies (even deleted WHITELISTED cookies that should never be deleted). Right click does nothing. After move button to Nav toolbar and restart, never worked again, still pops up empty grey box but doesn't delete cookies. Using Firefox esr 24.1.1

Edit Additional info:
Upon the developer's urging I tried disabling all other add-on's and re-try. Only deletes cookies when icon is on Add-On Bar, if moved to Nav Toolbar it doesn't work. Still deleted whitelisted cookies, but that could be a design decision (could call it a feature and not a bug?). When click on button it only pops up blank window with no text. Suggest testing with Firefox ESR versions, and blank window could be related to Linux Mint 16 64-bit. Upgraded rating to 2 stars since it does delete cookies, but only when in original Add-On bar position.

Conflict with another Add-On / Plugin?

You are likely using some other add-on that interferes with the operation of Clear All Cookies Button, and of which I have no control over. My add-on is designed to work only with Firefox's Native Cookie Handling Ability, and may not work if you have some other cookie manager, or cookie add-on installed.

You could try disabling all of your other add-ons and trying only Clear All Cookies Button by itself, and report your finding to me. I will be glad to try to help you sort out your issue, if one still exists.

***UPDATE: I released a new version (Clear All Cookies Button 3.4.1.15) Rewritten with the latest SDK [1.15] Please try this version and see if it works any better for you. I would also recommend leaving the button in it's default location on the status bar, and not moving it. Thank you for taking the time to review and report, and I hope this version will resolve the issues you were experiencing.

PASS ON THIS ONE Rated 1 out of 5 stars

If one user tells you about a problem, there are usually dozens more that did not take their time to share their comments. And it's apparent by your reply to Dave Kimble that you are not interested in constructive suggestions (which is why many people view sharing their comments as a waste of time). I, too, wasted my time trying to find how to use this add-on. I must be a masochist because I also likely just wasted my time by writing this comment!

Please see Intructions for Use.

Please see:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. Install Add-on.
2. Enable Add-on bar by right clicking on the top window bar and putting a check on "Add-on Bar".
3. Left Click the Cookie Icon to delete all cookies, Right Click to open the Cookie Manager.

not a real button Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I wasted an hour before realising it's not a button but an icon on the add-on bar. A proper button on the toolbar would be better.

The icon and its text are not alongside each other if there are already other icons present.

"You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time!" - Bob Marley

It actually says "Icon" not button, if you read the description, and as for it not showing properly, sounds like one of your other extensions are interfering with it, it lines up properly for me and everyone else I've had test it for me.

Nothing! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I tried contacting first but there was no mail listed here. I went to the developers home page and found an address which immediately bounced back as broken.

Anyways, I liked the idea here but there was no icon whatsoever. It wasn't in the toolbars, the statusbar or in the customization window. It simply didn't exist. Ouch!

It seems the extension did not install for you. Possibly it is not compatible with your version of Firefox. Please don't give a poor rating, if the extension is not compatible with your version, and you didn't even get to try it yet. Also please note: there is an older version of this add-on that is more compatible.

Also note that the add-on first appears on the "Add-on Bar", it does not appear on the toolbar.

Please try this version: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/clearallcookiesbutton/

PS: both listed websites do work, maybe you were having connection issues?
