Please be usable as soon as possible in "Firefox 8.0". Thanking you in advance.(Because I did not yet use it, the ranking "should have been 3" first of all.)

Works for me in Firefox 8.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

To keep this working after browser updates, you can also use add-on "Compatibility Reporter" by Mozilla. With this, "incompatible" add-ons won't be disabled automatically, and you'll even find under Tools/Add-ons an opportunity to flag whether a particular add-on still works for you - for others to know! Otherwise you can disable it by hand (as always).

CacheViewer for FF updated versions Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Click "Add to Firefox", right mouse click -> "Save Link As..." in "Install Anyway" when it appears.

Extract to a empty folder, edit "install.rfd" in notepad and change the max version to " * " only, making it look like "<em:maxVersion>*</em:maxVersion>".

Compress to file in ZIP format, change the .zip extension to .xpi and drag the file into/open it with FF.

This way the extension won't be disabled every time you update your FF version, but you have to keep an eye out to see if it continues to work from version to version.

Almost compatible with 7.0.1 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I've used this add-on for years... love it! But I recently upgraded Firefox to version 7.0.1 (Windows Vista). I had to hack the .rdf file to use this add-on with the new Firefox, but it seems to work for the most part. There are two problems I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed, though: 1) CacheViewer no longer shows previews in the upper left pane for image files in the file listing; 2) right-clicking on an item in the list brings up the context menu, but the background of the menu is transparent and the menu options are quite difficult to read (they still work, though).

Two new "CacheViewer" add-ons Rated 4 out of 5 stars

There are two other ("experimental") "CacheViewer" add-ons, based on the old one, available on this site: "CacheViewer Continued" and "CacheViewer Fx6". Type CacheViewer in the search box on this page. Haven't checked those as the old one still works for me on my FF6.0 as I mentioned below. Good luck!

won't load full content Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It worked for me fine till version 6.0.1
I can't seem to make it work with ff 6.0.2
I put max vers 6.9.9 and I tried even with cacheviewer version 0.7b.
The problem: Cacheviewer will load only half of the content (entries). Anyone else has the same issue?
Thanks everyone for their contribution here to make cacheviewer work wit ff 6. Any news by the developers?
