It's a nice idea, but many reasons not to install it. 1. No local install of background. 2. You have to join a community to upload pictures. 3. Uploads limited to 200kb. 4. Instructions on how to upload your backgrounds are confusing and different than what the interface actually requires. 5. The background is not static. You don't just get your background, you also have to view all the backgrounds that others have uploaded to a particular category, and they are displayed in a rotating order, meaning you may hardly get to see your background depending on how many backgrounds are in that category. It would be nice to have an extension like this, but with this one, there's just too much BS to put up with while the gains are minimal. I am just hoping it uninstalls without a hitch.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3).

You are missing some points

Thanks for the review. But apparently you are missing some points.

1. You can install your local images on your browser. If you can not, some other extension is conflicting Browser Backgrounds. So rather than reporting to this section you should open up a support topic on our Support Forum.

2. Every community needs registration. Anonymous users do not create a community.

3. Uploads limited to 200kb because there are slow connection users all over the world. If a limit is not set slow-connection users will complain about the size of the backgrounds.

4. Some steps are not present in tutorial because they are self intuitive to complete.

5. If you want to have a static background, you can delete the backgrounds that you do not want to be shown up inside browser and leave only the one that you want to make as static.
