Clicking on a folder is supposed to move the items, for a kind of batch-viewing. The idea is that you might have a folder like "Daily News" and you would click it, adding all your daily news bookmarks to the stack, and then you would click on them one-by-one until you read them all that day.
If you wish to view the different folder in the sidebar, you currently have to use the dropdown at the top of the Bookstack sidebar. (It may be hidden, to show it, click the far-right "select filters" button, and check "Select Stack.")
After installing this add-on , Many Times it happens that Firefox right click context menu does not show additional options of other add-ons eg readitlater , instapaper , tumblr & also of bookstack itself
Restarting Browser solves the bug for Timebeing only , thank you
As due to this bug , I have voted your extension out of my preffered list
Bug report: When I try to install another xpi add-on while Bookstack and Tab Mix Plus are both enabled, two install prompt windows open sequentially rather than one, the second appearing after the first one closes.

You rock! I really appreciate this extension especially since PageShortcuts and Liink Pad have not been updated. I use the Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar and I often have several rows of bookmarks filled with mostly temporary or single use bookmarks so this will be a great help to me.
P.S. Keep an eye out for an e-mail from me (so that you don't mark it as junk), I'd like to offer some samples of replacement icons for your toolbar button.
I'm not sure why this add-on is still in the "sandbox" -- it's is solid, stable, and useful. This is excellent for its stated use -- having a quick list of temporary bookmarks, but it's also useful for going through existing bookmarks in any part of your hierarchy and purging old stuff. Drag and Drop, click delete -- it makes organizing existing bookmarks very easy.
To top it all off, the author is responsive to comments.
A very nice plugin that should be part of the main add-on repository. This would be a hit if people could only find it. Great, Great, Great plugin -- an excellent idea, well executed.
Others have commented against the name as well. The original intention there was that the first version was a Stack structure, so the casing was to emphasize that. Since the casing probably does not translate and it is less of a stack and more of a queue or bag now, I will change it for 0.5.0.
I will look at the buttons to make them 'depressed' when turned on. I dearly want to replace the icons/images on them either way, but alas I'm not that skilled at graphics (or at explaining semi-complicated settings as an icon). I fully agree that their current buttons are lacking.
There is a FF2 version which you can still find in the older versions on here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addons/versions/5461
It's the 0.3.5 version.
The reason I started only doing bookStack for Firefox 3 is Firefox 3 completely changed the way the bookmarks system worked. I didn't want to have to keep up with two sets of code.
Unfortunately, that means there's some differences in the features since I've made changes and added localizations, etc. since 0.3.5. If you use the Firefox 2 version and find a bug or feel like it doesn't support what it should, let me know and I may do an updated release for Firefox 2.
Firefox 3 is going to be out this summer and it is a better browser than 2 from my experience (faster, better features, etc.) so hopefully after it is out everyone will use it and the lack of an updated bookStack for Firefox 2 won't matter.
