Ein Update wäre toll :)
great ! as I am still using Firefox 3.6 because all the new versions are really slow I found this very useful ! thanks !!
This is a truly simple & great add-on. A TOP 5 Must Have for Firefox, I agree with another user, this should be built right into Firefox. Thanks to the developer.
this addon needs to be official supported by Firefox...saves a lot of space in bookmark bar and should be available for Mac OS as in the other OSes....
Great! I have just started moving a Mac, and was gutted that I couldn't see my icons when I imported my bookmarks. Now I can, thanks.
Umm! This is the BEST Fire Fox add on! I missed this feature way too much!
Umm! This is the BEST Fire Fox add on EVER!!!!!
This is a great plugin. I really missed this feature on Mac.
Is there any way to force an icon for a bookmark? I have some pages that do not already have icons...
Works fine for me. I love having icons in my bookmarks bar so I can quickly find what I'm looking for. Every once in a while the icons get mixed up, but I think this may be more of a Firefox issue than the add-on.
broken with Firefox 3.5.5 ... please fix
I appear to have the same problem as caspy7 -- this extension pegs my processor usage at close to 100%, rendering Firefox practically unusable. Perhaps a conflict with Foxmarks?
*Seemed* to eat up processor.
Installed v. 0.1.2 (on Firefox 3.0) and restarted. Firefox immediately began using up 100% cpu and stayed that way. I disabled the extension and restarted and the processor usage is back to normal.
But yes, it did indeed add icons to the toolbar.
Used FavIcons until Firefox upgrade. Tried several later versions of FavIcon with no sucess. Then tried another toolbar icon program that replaced text w/icon and featured auto text when mouse scrolled over icon. That program left several of my bookmarks with no text and no icon. This one popped up immediately showing icons and text or text and a generic icon for those w/out available icons. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
Great work, I've always missed this feature after switching to mac... It'd be great if you could change folder and RSS feed icons as well.
this extension is exactly what i've been looking for!
somehow, i can't get it installed on 3.0RC2 even if it's stated to work with 3.0b1-3.0.*
are there workarounds to this?
I have 3 computers that I sync using Foxmarks, and I like to have a different Bookmarks Toolbar for each one. Foxmarks has just one flaw, it saves the last folder you have set to use as your Toolbar. So every time I use a different computer I have to manually switch it from Organize Bookmarks. This extension allows me to use a different folder on my toolbar for each computer. Then I just hide the default one and it's seamless!
This is now one of my must have add-ons.
I love having the favicons in my bookmarks toolbar. Thank you Myk!
This extension does exactly what it is supposed to do.
