Works fine for me. I love having icons in my bookmarks bar so I can quickly find what I'm looking for. Every once in a while the icons get mixed up, but I think this may be more of a Firefox issue than the add-on.
*Seemed* to eat up processor. Installed v. 0.1.2 (on Firefox 3.0) and restarted. Firefox immediately began using up 100% cpu and stayed that way. I disabled the extension and restarted and the processor usage is back to normal. But yes, it did indeed add icons to the toolbar.
Used FavIcons until Firefox upgrade. Tried several later versions of FavIcon with no sucess. Then tried another toolbar icon program that replaced text w/icon and featured auto text when mouse scrolled over icon. That program left several of my bookmarks with no text and no icon. This one popped up immediately showing icons and text or text and a generic icon for those w/out available icons. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
I have 3 computers that I sync using Foxmarks, and I like to have a different Bookmarks Toolbar for each one. Foxmarks has just one flaw, it saves the last folder you have set to use as your Toolbar. So every time I use a different computer I have to manually switch it from Organize Bookmarks. This extension allows me to use a different folder on my toolbar for each computer. Then I just hide the default one and it's seamless!
