- by Firefox user 13568616, 2 years agoRated 4 out of 5Works nice. How can I use ctrl instead of alt in Windows 10 FF 60? Thank you!
Developer responseposted 2 years agoCtrl+number are reserved by Firefox to change tabs so it won't work for addons. Though it could be changed only in the addon code (it's hardcoded). This is the page with possible combinations (section 'Shortcut values'): https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/WebExtensions/manifest.json/commands.

Developer responseposted 2 years agoHi. In new browser versions 57+ there is a button by default which toggles the sidebars (bookmarks, history...) "Show sidebars". For older versions I have the Bookmarks Sidebar Button addon.
- by tuk0z, 5 years agoRated 3 out of 5Addon works for bookmarks in bookmarks toolbar, unless they are in (sub)folders.
Have a bunch of bookmarklets that I wish could be launched with a keyboard shortcut (note the're in folders for a good reason). As was possible with Mozilla Firefox versions till 2014.
- by --marc, 5 years agoRated 4 out of 5Helpful Addon. Works as described on OS X except when the curser is in an editable text field. When the curser is in an editable text field, the alt-number just enters the corresponding keyboard character.
Developer responseposted 5 years agoThanks for your notice. I guess the situation with the textfield is related to the OS. I didn't check it in other OS except Windows just enabled its download for all platforms so that users may use it if it works for them.
