Forget it. Doesn't work at all.
Wonderful addon, I use it daily! Please, fix what FF52 update broke in it!
As a heavy tab user, this is a quintessential addon for me which I have been using for years. Unfortunately, FF52 completely broke it and it doesnt work anymore. I dont know JS so I cant fix it and there is no other alternative as good as this. If the developer of the addon is still active and reads this, please, please, can he try and make it work for 52? Otherwise, I ll have to stick to 51 for the time being.
I installed it on 34.0 on Xubuntu (64 bit). I press Ctrl+Shift+D and nothing happens.
bookmarks pinned tabs, unlike builtin "Bookmark all tabs" (are pinned tabs not tabs?:-))
Now this one works like a charm! :-)
Note that you can still use Ctrl+Shift+D to bookmark all Tabs in Firefox. If you forget the shortcut, open the bookmark menu section with Alt+B
Works well enough but it's kind of lacking in features, and it's annoying that it includes app-tabs in the bookmarks. Desirable features for me would be an option to not include app-tabs, to customize the format of the names it gives the folders (not just the prefix, but for instance with a format string), and to optionally launch a dialog to give the folder a different name (for instance, if you hold ctrl when you click the button).
Also, the button looks too much like the normal favorite button, it would be better if it was different.
Awesome add-on! Just what I was looking for. Thanks dude, very much appreciated.
Works perfect on FF 15 Beta.
It would be cool if you could save the bookmarks on the bookmark bar.
I wanted this add on. I clicked the down load button. after installation the message read. Add on will be installed after fire fox restarts. I pressed restart button. I could not find in Book mark menu this add on. I tried thrice. This is firefox 11 or12 version.
Please help me in installing this book mark
reliable addon for quickly bookmarking all opened tabs using timestamp , lightweight @8kb
I also don't seem to be able to get it working. There's no "Bookmark All Tabs" in the "Bookmarks" section. Right-clicking on a Tab and then "Bookmark All Tabs" gives me a horizontal line (an empty window). Using the toolbar icon at least generates the "Bookmark All" folder and "Bookmark at: $date" sub folder, but it remains empty although I have several tabs open. Using Firefox 10.0.3 here. (I know, the tips for reviews says "Please do not post bug reports in reviews.", but there seems to be no alternative option in the support section of this addon)
"Bookmark All" was designed for Firefox 3 and earlier that has "menu bar". If you enabled "menu bar", you can bookmark all tabs with "Tools" -> "Bookmark All".
How it work? I have installed it on FF10.0.2, but I see the standard menu item "Bookmark All Tabs" ony in the menu of tabs. This always request a folder name.
But I can't found YOUR extension! You should to write a short instruction of usage of your add-on.
And... add it to the context menu of the tabbar, because the Tools menu is hidden by default in Firefox
Великолепное дополнение, удобнее, чем использование сессий. Сделайте пожалуйста поддержку Firefox 5.
Bitte für Firefox 5 kompatibel machen!
Vielen Dank für dieses schöne Add-On :o)
Excellent add-on. Please update for FF5.
Simple, useful, effective. Excellent.
On Mac OS X 10.5.8 with FF 3.6.8, it only bookmarks one windows, which is the same that FF comes with; hence, this isn't worth downloading whatsoever. I'm going to find one that works.
Seems to work very well. My main use for this will be for saving sessions, having them synchronized by Xmarks, and then resuming them on a different computer.
To make it easier to remember to use, I dragged the Bookmark All toolbar button directly under Firefox's "close window / exit application" button (upper-right corner in Windows).
Also, in the extension's options, I renamed the parent folder from "Bookmark All" to "[Bookmarked Sessions]" and the prefix for individual session folders from "Bookmarks at: " to "Session of ". (The brackets around the parent folder help make it stand out in the bookmarks list and put it at the top when bookmarks are "sorted by name," and the revised language is less confusing to me.)
* Clearer English in the options dialog.
* Option to trigger Bookmark All automatically on Firefox exit or restart, before tabs close and before Xmarks runs.
* Option to have older session folders automatically deleted.
does this bookmark url as well because I hate it when my internet disconnects then when I bookmark all my tabs it shows up as blank, no url address
I was looking exactly for something like that!! I'm using Xmarks so all of those session savers doesn't fit me - they weren't synchronized by Xmarks. Now if I want to return later to all current site on other computer it's not a problem :-D
I would like to chose the folder in which subfolders will be created, cause I have my own "Temp" folder on bookmark toolbar. So some more settings would be appreciate! Everything else is just great! :-D
this is a great extension. with one click, you can add all tabs to a bookmark folder with time stamp.
please please update for FF3.
I liked the idea of having a Firefox extension that could be used to automatically bookmark all tabs in a window, and give the folder in which these bookmarks would be stored the current date and time as its name. In fact, I liked the idea so much, I wrote a similar extension that works with Firefox 3. This extension can be found at this URL: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9027. It is in the sandbox at this time, and it will continue to be until reviews of it are posted on AMO, or someplace else.
Those who have not yet upgraded to Firefox 3 may like using this extension, as it is simple, yet useful. Whenever you want to open the set of tabs you had open at a particular time, you can refer to your bookmarks when you have an extension like this installed.
FFX3's "bookmark all tabs" doesn't timestamp the folder automatically.
