nice, but would be nicer if you could configure it to give you a popup that let you customize download folders, tags, etc, before adding it to rutorrent.

That would be nice, but it would also require all of the WebUI APIs for each of the supported torrent clients being capable of accepting those kinds of commands. Which unfortunately, they don't.

stopped working Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It was working fine till I tried a static ip, as I couldn't get it to work properly I reverted to router default settings. Now webui opens but when I click on magnet I get 401 error Server replied unauthorized and authentication window for user and pass opens every time, any idea what might be causing this ? Regards

Sounds like just a configuration problem. Try clearing your settings and reconfiguring the addon. If you need help send me an email with the details.

Doesn't work with uTorrent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This does not work with µTorrent Server alpha (3.0 build 27079). Am I doing something wrong or is this a known issue? Nothing happens when i click on a magnet link. I just hear the notification sound.

EDIT: Looks like there was a bad torrent stuck in my watch folder. It was preventing other torrents from being loaded. Everything seems to be working now. Rating adjusted ;-)

Hi this should work fine with that version of uTorrent. Check that you have the path correct and that when you middle click the addon icon the webui opens correctly. If the webui doesn't load you might have some setting wrong.Send me an email if you need to troubleshoot the problem.

The Perfect Addition To Any Seedbox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works perfectly with rutorrent.

You are one star short of perfection. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Want to know why? Because there is no support for qBittorrent.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.2.5.1-signed.1-signed).

qBittorrent support is now added in version 0.2.3.0.

working fine with rutorrent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

note: magnets arn't supported till rtorrent 0.8.7 but 0.8.7 doesnt work with rutorrent. i upgraded to rtorrent 0.9.2 which seems ok with rutorrent 3.5 so far, thanks. note to dev's comment: i edited my post 5 stars, works fine with tpb, my problem was rtorrent 0.8.6 which doesnt support .magnet, though does support .torrent and the addon did work with them. now upgraded works on all counts! donating :)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.2.5.1-signed.1-signed).

Is it only with a specific website or all of them?
Check if your rutorrent and rtorrent are up to date as well in case you have an older version that doesn't support magnet links.

Excellent designed plugin, only gives an error on Deluge (It says Error, Unknown Method) - it can't add the .torrent (login is correct) however it works with utorrent!I can add torrents though the manual way...

EDIT: It seems that ubuntu was stuffing around - so now it works with deluge and all is well :D

Does not work on some tracker, it let me choose to download it or open it (suggest me uttorent), but it works on others trackers. Why it's not working for every .torrent? For example, it's not working on this site: https://www.quebec-team.net/, but with the same computer/browser, it's working on this site: http://www.t411.me/ Thank you for your help

Sorry, the site you mentioned requires a login and registration is closed. Do you have another example I can check on? Email me at bunta@orcon.net.nz if you like.

EDIT: After checking the site the download links are php downloads that convert to a torrent file after it is downloaded. Unfortunately this type of link cannot be captured by the file type watcher that is used in this addon but could be modified by a greasemonkey script.

not working for me using mac transmission, this should work with the transmission remote web interface correct?

I got it working, had to enter just localhost and then the port and it was good to go.

Works just the way you want it. Have seen others, this one just works :D

@Bunta126: Could you enable this for Firefox Mobile as well? Would be neat to download my favorite Linux distribution while I am walking around downtown ;-)

I actually have a mobile addon in the works but it needs to be completely rewritten for mobile devices. It might take a while before the development on that is finished but I might have a beta version available some time soon.

Great Time Saver Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this add-on, I run Transmission BT on a headless Ubuntu server and this saves me a lot of time when adding torrents to my server. The most recent update seems to have broken magnet link support for Transmission BT though. When I click a magnet link now I get a window asking what program I would like to use to handle the link. Still a great program though, just needs the magnet link support for Transmiision repaired. *** Repaired within 24 hours of my noting this issue. Great support from this developer! ***

Sorry, I missed a preference change in the magnet handler when I altered the preferences branch.
This is fixed in version 0.2.2.5 which will be reviewed by mozilla and released publicly soon.

Everything has been working with Deluge for months. Thank you so much for taking over and improving on a dead addon. BT WebUI+ has a place in my cloud profile and is used on all of my machines. Keep up the great work!

Works well. Needs qBittorrent support, and possibly multiple server support.

Help For server 2011 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It is great add on. Thanks you

1. When I upload a torrent to my uTorrent my firefox freezes and I have to wait for the message "connection to the server failed" b4 I can use the firefox. Till now it has not worked on my setup.
2. I paste my torrents in folder "new" and u torrents automatically uses this and starts downloading. Is there a way to use magnet link and torrent be put in the folder "new' in shared folder?
Thanks again for making this add on.

A amazing add-on, works great.
One thing would make it better, when I upload a torrent to my uTorrent my firefox freezes and I have to wait for the message "connection to the server failed". Could you send the magnet-link over a new Thread.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.2.2.1-signed.1-signed).

Unfortunately I can't as I need to request an access token from uTorrent to submit the add torrent request which needs to be done synchronously. There may be a way to do it but I would need to redesign the entire dispatcher system. I might look into doing that in a future version.

Barely funtional with rutorrent Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Works great for uploading .torrent files to rutorrent webui. When uploading magnet links though the torrents remain in client as .meta files. Dont know if this is a problem with rutorrent or plugin. It also will not login to webui for me.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.2.1.1-signed.1-signed).

ruTorrent support should be fully functional since a few versions ago including magnet links.

Is it possible to add torrent paused (don't download immediately)?

Thanks a lot.

Ummm.. am I doing something wrong?? I am able to hit my transmission box via other plugins. not sure why this one says it supports magnet links unless i'm doing something wrong... seems pretty straight forward to me just doesn't work...
