Work's perfectly, except for torrent files on ftp servers (e.g. ftp://iso2.de.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/iso/6.1/NetBSD-6.1-amd64.iso.torrent)

Except for magnet links the mechanism for intercepting the torrent links is using an HTTP listener so won't work for FTP sites. I might look into that for a future release.
