This is NOT a plugin. It is SPAM 4 'Flash Loder' web site, & 'Flow Player' software. 4 starters, Flow Player is commercial crap that is flash-based and thus NOT faster than flash. Second, it doesn't function! (vids don't play - if intermittent, that is no excuse). Install 'flashblock' & 'Gom Player' or MPC + FFDSHOW instead of this spam junk. Wish somebody would port GOM or the others so can play flash via those programs as plugin - takes NO CPU! Like with GOM set on DX9 Renderless (no overlay mixer) takes about 1-2% CPU 2 play full screen flash videos on 2Ghz PC, whereas same thing can take nearly all of it! Yes, this means (via the program not imbedded) U can play TEN simultaneous U-Tube vids, not just one :))

Flash is the most absurd bloatware player on Earth. Seriously - reminds me of Microsoft - really, Y use just 1-2% CPU when U can (Macromedia) hire a bunch of retards who can't get it 2 play with less than 70+% (!!!) WTF?!?! LOL!!

As some users have pointed out, there only 3 options, it’s pretty useless extension at the moment (needs some work).
If you're still looking for Youtube video auto play stopper, this is the only that works for me (I'm using FF3.0)...http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/38553

Missing Options Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Only actually has 3 of the options displayed in the screenshot. The alternative video player won't load, and the download button is just a link to another site. There is no option to display all videos in high quality (in fact, I've been searching for an add-on that will do this, but I can't find one)

Misleading. Only 2 of 6 features actually exist. Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Most of the functionality this extension claims to have and even illustrates in the screenshot does not even exist in the installed product. Also, one of the three features that actually exist will result in no video even appearing.

Here are a list of the actual features:
+ Add "Download" Link.
+ Theater Mode
+ Alternate Video Player (BROKEN - no videos at all!)

What we're told are the features:
+ Add "Download" Link.
+ Theater Mode
+ Alternate Video Player
+ Hide Comments and "More From" Videos
+ Show Full Video Description
+ YouTube HD

Why doesn't this give me the options to watch YouTube in HD, and always show the description as in your screenshot?

Good add-on but the screenshot shows more options then it really has.

very good, perfect youtube

It's a really good add on and the prevent autoplay feature is amazing. Only problem is that lately for what ever reason if I have that feature turned on flowplayer refuses to load so the videos won't work. Otherswise totally awesome.

Must report bug in review since there is no other obvious option - flowplayer has stopped working with the latest firefox update - I get a brief loading screen and then it is blank. I kno that flowplayer works on my system since I can access it on their site no proble, so i presume it's a bug in the add-on.

Layout Problems Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Amazing add-on, but your download link seems to mess up the layout of the "watch in high quality" link. It gets moved down so it's partially obscured by the ads/text below it.

Thanks (:

This is one of those "I can't live without" programs. Works great and has save me on more than one occasion. Well worth the look.

I love the Theater View. Clean and simple, without the silly comments.

This is a great plugin, but needs to update its Flowplayer code (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/13955)

Tips Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Coulds you make it complatible with Firefox 3.2beta1 (nightly builds)?

Very good option... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I like it!

works great! and the only app i tried that allows downloading the HQ (flv) vids very easily..

Think it would be better if my script was apart of this:

This is so only the video is shown, nothing else. :)

Meh Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I found this to be mostly redundant. The alternate video player doesn't work, the YouTube Download option has been done before and has been done better (without using an external site) and the YouTube Theater script -- well, it works as expected but I it's pretty useless too.

Even if you don't have a YouTube account (ie. can't comment nor rate) and never browse any related videos, more often than not the video description is relevant.

Ive been using better gmail for quite some time and found it to be amazing. i have high hopes for better youtube for 2009 :)

Tips Rated 4 out of 5 stars

great add-on, works great when you have flashblock (another add-on), because then you select the home theater, and before watching the video, you can read about it, and it doesn't play automatically! i have my background set to black, that really helps remove the distracting white around the page, but isn't necessary. I do have one small question about it though: the higher quality videos have a little lower quality audio, so would it be possible to stream just the audio of the low quality video and just the video of the high quality video, thus making a high video and high audio quality movie? That would be tough but a great improvement!
